Any given night at this upscale lounge promises an attractive crowd vying for seats at the U-shaped bar. Groups who arrive early nab seats at earth-toned chaise lounges and ottomans, where they can set their glasses of vino on low-slung tables and chat about the take-notice pop art adorning the lofty brick walls. Between sips of California zin, French cab blends or other selections from the well-edited wine list, patrons nibble on complementary small plates, including goat-cheese pizzetta, tuna cru, salumi and cheese plates.

Good after-work mix it up place

by SonomaLocal at Citysearch

Never been here on the weekend but it's got a good scene for afterwork midweek. Nice little lounge areas to sit back and peoplewatch. Wine list is eclectic full of labels I've never heard of but I like trying new stuff.

Great fun buzz, fabulous food, killer wine list and just a hot place to be in the city.

by kristylsummers at Citysearch

This place is one great time. A singles "market", but I went with my boyfriend and we both loved it. Lots of buzz, fabulous wine list including several by the glass, and wonderful, delicious food. There is no hostess - seating is all first come, first served. I highly recommend the tempura spicy albacore tuna rolls, the prosciutto san daniele and arugula hand rolls with goat cheese and fig jam and the morroccan lamb meatballs. For desert, don't pass up the warm sultana spice bread pudding with brandy carmel sauce. To die for. Order 3-4 things to share with your date or friend, and you are set. Servers, all male, are on top of it and extremely knowledgable.
