In Short
One of the many venues spawned by the Vintage 415 crew, this two-level lounge practically purrs with seductive touces like masculine leather seating areas, exposed brick, twinkling chandeliers and custom black wallpaper sporting the establishment's logo. Antique-style rotary phones set into the booths give patrons' a lifeline to the bar (and to each other), where bartenders churn house-made mixers into classic cocktails. Upstairs, an intimate, lofted space with low-set seating and a second, smaller bar overlooks the action down below.

This place is over-rated and most importantly over-priced!!! Went there for a Birthday Bash and I thought I'd get my Birthday friend a bottle service. We tried calling and emailing to secure a reservation earlier that day but no one got a hold of us back. We thought we'd just swing by there and see if we can get a booth, luckily we did. Well maybe we were not too lucky now that I think about it. We got a bottle of HangarOne vodka, and a bottle of Midori, I was so shocked when I saw the check. They charged Hangarone Vodka 40% alcohol (80 proof) that costs $35/btl wholesale -- $290. While Midori that only has 20% alcohol (40 proof), and only cost $20/btl wholesale-- watch this...$310. Whatt??? what in the world? where'd they get the numbers? When tried to explain this to the self-assured French table hostess she refused to verify to the manager. The manager Danielle who never responded back to our initial reservation emails sent me an email afterwards and said that she was thankful for our group coming in, and hoping that we had a great time. Right..I responded and explained to her what happened. She said she was sooo sorry and would contact me to review this. No body ever did. Worst Customer Service!!! I got ripped off!

Had heard about The Ambassador for over a year and finally met friends here for Happy Hour drinks and appetizers. Our experience exceeded the buzz. This is one of my new favorite bars. Beautiful concept and use of space. The cluster of chandeliers is magic. Drinks were excellent, appetizers were fun, and service was superb. Bartenders were skilled and super friendly. There is a long bar along one wall and a bevy of big cushy booths along the opposite wall. Upstairs has a cozy balcony with a second bar that overlooks the room. Love, too, the old movies playing on the big screen. We've been back several times since and have always have a good time. Good music. Friendly crowd. A touch of class.
