Editorial Review for Two – by Michael Peck
The Scene
A natural theme dominates, with a tree-pattern front door opening into a dining room boasting polished-wood furniture, floors, wall coverings and candle sconces. A stylishly outfitted crowd dines at an acacia-wood communal table with green-and-brown banquettes lining the walls. Decked-out tipplers gather around the space's centerpiece, a copper-accented, oval bar lit by anemone-like lamps.
The Food
The bill of fare provides a flavorful foundation for the earthy but elevated theme. Spicy onion soup lends an appealing bit of fire to a comfort favorite, while roasted half-duck on the bone is satisfying and meaty, its skin crackling with the appropriate crispness. Caramelized broccoli has a savory snap to it, and is apt accompaniment for just about any entree. Finishing up, the decadent banana cream pie brulee with banana-caramel-crunch ice cream or the three mini-ice cream sandwiches are more than worth saving room for to wrap things up with a proper sugar buzz.

We did the chef's table here one night and it was an amazing experience! If you can get in, give it a try (but you can't be a picky eater). the bar drinks were great and the restaurant is very ambient. I can't wait to go back and try the dining room next time. Great for dates or a group.
Pros: great atmosphere
