Finally....excellent Chinese in the Marina!. Having recently moved to this neighborhood, we were disappointed by our options for Chinese food. We went to Country Sky for the first time just a few days after they opened. The service was terrific, the food was delicious, and there is a lovely atmosphere. We've now been back a couple of times and have always enjoyed huge portions, tasty dishes, and the same friendly service. We've sampled several things at this point - pork, seafood, beef, chicken, soup, and appetizers. Some dishes are definite stand-outs (Szechwan pork, shrimp in special garlic sauce, eggplant in garlic sauce, potstickers, wonton soup), but everything was fresh, hot, and well seasoned. And the value for money equation is ridiculous - the potstickers, for example, cost just $4.95 for 6 enormous wontons. The small wonton soup is $2.95 and serves two and is really, really good. Free delivery and an extremely reasonable corkage fee are additional reasons to give Country Sky a try. Please go and support this new restaurant and help them have a successful launch!
