In Short
Warmed by rose-petal walls and high-end cream furnishings, this intimate salon offers a fanciful escape for skin and nail services. Expert manicures and pedicures are enhanced by a menu of soothing spa treatments. The "Chloe," for example, offers a honey-milk soak and sugar scrub, cream massage and lavender-paraffin-dip finish. The staff prides itself on personalized service, cleanliness and old-fashioned pampering.

This nail salon in Hayes Valley is such a treat. It offers the best of both worlds: lovely decor and high end products and treatments at an affordable price. It's truly a destination pedicure - bring your girlfriends and enjoy the oversize comfy chairs and charming atmosphere. Best yet, none of those scuzzy pedicure chair tubs that never get cleaned. The sweet staff brings out fresh water tubs for each patron and opens new tools (that you can take with you when you leave), so you know everything's sanitary. They even offer you a warm neck wrap for ultimate comfort. Their parafin pedicure is a real treat, but even the most basic services here feel more indulgent than the average mani/pedi. Go get pampered!

Pros: Adorable decor, sanitary, good value, street parking avail.

Cons: Closes at 7:00 pm

I recently went to The Pampered Girl for the first time and was so impressed. I have been to several other salons trying to find a great eyebrow wax and would definitely rate this place a 10. The staff was really friendly, but not insincere, the place was beautiful inside with a hip, french motif (french music, french decor, vintage white clutches adorning the tables, etc) and most importantly, I walked away happy with my services. I didn't partake, but I did see two girls getting pedicures and drinking champagne, obviously enjoying themselves, while I was there. It could definitely be a "girls day out" location. I will continue to go back to Kathy (for waxing)! Thanks, Pampered Girl! I'm so happy to have a great place to rely on here in SF! -Julie

Pros: Inexpensive, Great Ambiance, Nice Staff

Cons: None that I saw!
