Dissapointing massage
by VIV at Citysearch
I had an apointment at 5:30. I got to the door and it was locked with a note saying to call a number and someone will open the door immediatly. I called the number and was put on hold for 15 minutes. The person answered and turned out to be an offsite receptionist! No one answered the door for another 10 minutes. It turns out the only reason it was answered was that the masseuse was going to the bathroom.
Bad massage--It sure was painful, but my back does not feel any more relieved then it did when I went in.
Masseuse talked to whole time.
Asked to focus on my shoulders and she gave me a hard time. I feel bad for these masseuses they seem like nice people I just wish they new how to give a massage.
- Cons: No one answered the door. Not a deep tissue massage.
Highly recommend!

Sara is a miracle worker. Go to her. You won't regret it. Not only is she the BEST, she's also the nicest.
Deep tissue for serious healing
by scamppride at Citysearch
As an overworked, stressed, computer user, my shoulders and neck tend to cause me. I have been seeing Sara for years now and she is amazing. This is not a spa massage. They really work your muscles deep and you will detox a bit after the massage. However, the next day is amazing. I don't think I could keep up my insane work schedule without these guys. I have been seeing Jez since Sara can't work on weekends (and I work too much for weekdays) and he is right up there with Sara. He really knows how to work into the back and reach the lower muscles. I highly recommend Jez (and Sara).
- Pros: Serious massage by knowledgable professionals
- Cons: Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment
Fantastic sports massage - won't go anywhere else

I've been going to DEEP for the past year, and have had bodywork done by both Sara and Mike. I can't say enough about Sara - her deep (no pun intended) knowledge of the body and muscular systems is the best I've ever encountered, bar none. I've gone to Sara for deep tissue massage while training for long distance tris and marathons, and in conjunction with the work at ChiroMedical, I've come out healthier than before. I've also seen her for myofasical work, which helped alleviate chronic hip pain I'd had for close to two years.
I recently saw Mike for the first time, for a post-Marathon massage; he was also excellent, and seemed in line with Sara's same techniques.
I only wish I hadn't waited so long to start going there -- I won't go anywhere else.
- Pros: professional massage, relaxing, convenient
- Cons: parking (though Sara gives a reduced rate in a nearby lot, which is great), no evening hours
Mike is Incredible
by jmarand at Citysearch
Mike's method of bodywork is unlike any other other deep massage I have experienced. For example, he is able to work the attachment sites of my muscles, going right to the bone, without pain. I feel grounded and integrated in my body after a session with him. I also really like how I am an active participant in my healing when I work with him. In working with him, I not only feel better in my body, but have a greater intelligence and sense of my body. I am a yoga teacher and I highly recommend Mike to my students to help deepen their practice and overcome physical limitations.
- Pros: incredible, reliable bodywork
- Cons: Mike only works one afternoon/evening a week (Tuesdays)
