A little pricey, but you're in Nordstrom.. I used to work near the area, so this was my lunchtime place to hang-out in. Very fast service specially for lunch, when they know you have to gulp food down, but still want it to taste good at least.

Great view and the best coffee and dessert in the city. I was shopping at the Nordstrom's San Francisco location for some gifts for Christmas when I stumbled upon a great cafe on the fourth floor that over looks 5th and Market, Powell street cable cars and people walking everywhere. The service was amazing, a friendly smile and a quick greeting. I was hungry and told the waitress I was in a hurry, she told me the kitchen was very fast and that I had come to the right place. She was right.....lunch in about 10 minutes it was hot and the fries were awesome. I have been back 4-5 times since then. I strongly recommend this jewel next time you want to be treated like a king and have a great meal to boot

Bistro fare with unique, terrific views at the top of the Nordstrom department store.. In Short
Shoppers seem surprised to stumble upon this uniquely laid-out bistro atop Nordstrom, but many might make it a destination in itself for its bright views over downtown. The entrance features a busy full bar, and from there the bistro stretches like a train with long, tight corridors to the right and left, lined beautifully with wide windows. High-end service belies the fair prices for consistent, localized bistro favorites such as cioppino, roast chicken pommes frites and Dungeness crab louie salad.
