NOT as good as I thought for price, staff rude, food okay. NOT where I would suggest you take a date, the staff is what ruined it for us. Large party organizer was so rude. Not only did I feel she was very unorganized she never returned our call to follow up with our reservation and then when I called her she put me on hold while she yelled at one of her teenage kids. I only know this because she kept telling them I am at work and her daughters language was mouthy. The food was just mediocre and nothing to write home about, the bathrooms smelt and that is not cool

Changing Menu for ecclectic tastes. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was great although it can get a little noisy. Its got a very open feel to it and the service is stellar! A great addition to Downtown Redwood City. Try the flatbread, its great.

Romantic Ambiance and Great Food. Unique food, beautiful presentation, romantic atmosphere and great service ... what more would one need to have a wonderful dining experience?!! We've been there several times and have always enjoyed the food. Nice to have a San Francisco calibre restaurant in the Peninsula.

Amazing Food & Wine Paired with Over the Top Service. You won't find another place like this in or near Redwood City. The service was the absolute greatest! Our glasses were always full and the menu suggestions were unbelievable. Everything was perfect down to the atmosphere. We started off with the hummus and the fungi pizza, then the flat iron steak, and ended with the churros with espresso dipping sauce. Everything was very tasty and perfectly cooked. We will definately be back.

Great Ambiance, Great Food, Awesome Service. We had such a nice time at Mandaloun! The shrimp, beef carpaccio and lamb skewers were delicious. The Faust Cab was perfect with our dinner. For entrees, we had the osso bucco, steak and pork shoulder. They were also very good. The service was first rate. I will definitely go here again.

Great ambience; food good to average. We went with a large group and shared several appetizers (cod/fries, Moroccan cigars, kibbeh). All were good, not great. My wife and I had a funghi pizza and short rib for dinner.....pizza was good, the short rib was outstanding. For dessert, we tried the molten chocolate cake and pear crisp - both looked decadent but were very bland - so would skip it for the ice cream across the street! The ambiance is wonderful and they've done a great job with the place. Service was good.... they were busy (Sat. nite), and were slow on getting the main courses to us, but apologized and brought out some hummus. Definitely get a reservation.

Comfortable and upscale surroundings.. I had lunch for the first time at Mandaloun and felt like I wanted to stay all afternoon. It was a comfortable, warm, and friendly ambience with fireplaces and attentive staff. The menu provided a great assortment of large and small servings of uniquely wonderful food. The presentation was creative and the food was mouthwatering. If you are on a limited lunch schedule you don't have to wait long to be served. I would love to return for dinner.

Suprising Dining in Redwood City, delicious tapas with great service. TAPAS

We were looking for tapas, something tastey with a variety and in small portions. Manaloun was a surprising find in our own neighborhood.

Spacious, the decor is clean yet warm, there is dining out front during the summer and enclosed in colder seasons, but it was warm & quaint--not noisy.

The range of tapas was great (3 plates for $15), then we added a medium dish, salad, and ended up taking a pizza home. All reasonably priced. Very good wine selection. Reservations were recommended as it was full when we dropped in for the first time (Sat).

I will recommend this to friends and come back again. Enjoy.
