Best Chicken Pho Ever!. I've had lots of pho in my time...from lots of different cities...Bodhi beats them all hands down! Try the chicken pho and cripsy rolls...you won't be sorry!

Bodhi has got the flavor, but spotty Service.. I really like to eat at this restaurant and can say that I eat there at least once a week. I originally found this restaurant because it was previously called the "Window" and had similar vietnamese inspired food. I work near Bodhi so it is convenient. I have tried their crispy rolls, calamari, vietnamese BBQ chicken, Mongolian inspired beef, Basil Chicken, and Coconut curry.

I must say that they are all very flavorful dishes. The dishes never lack any taste or have a missing ingredient. They are complete and can satisfy any

But my own gripe about this restaurant is their service! I am the type of person that likes to go out and have my server look after me. For example fill my water glass when it is empty, take my order and get it right, ask if I need anything else, make sure all items that were ordered make it to the table, ask me if everything tastes good, and promptly issues me the bill. These are all things that servers must know and practice! I have not experienced all of those phases at any of my dining experiences at Bodhi. I don't know if their servers are new or haven't been trained but I do enjoy good service along with the good food. That all contributes to a GOOD EXPERIENCE! I want the good experience too! If I would have got that, I might not be writing this review in a negative light.

The last time I was at this restuarant, my food came 10 minutes after my companions (2 people), I had to ask for water, ask for a refill, ask for utesils, and finally ask for my check! That is totally unacceptible. I don't think I am asking for much.

The food is good, but the service needs work. I can find this quality of food and service to accompany it somewhere else.

Best Vietnamese in Mission. Since Slanted Door left the Valencia, i've been looking for a good Vietnamese spot or atleast a decent one in the Mission District. So last week by accident I stumbled onto Bodhi... It was not a typical Friday... Long week at work then came Critical Mass that blocked all of Market ... I took a quick exit into Valencia to avoid the bikers onslaught. 2 blocks down I see something very inviting on the left. I parked, entered and nice... place felt alive. I was seated and ordered the Peking Roast Duck Rolls... good god delicious! The Asparagus soup with crab meat was extremely tasty. I ordered the Shaken Beef and brown rice; I literally died and went to heaven... it blended so intricately well with my glass of Vitiano.

I wish I could've eaten more. The server suggested next time to try the Sea Bass and Crepe... wowzers, I must return with my friends.
