Icon is the best place to go it like nice club with pretty girls, good music and a good atmoshpere.. Every time me & my girls go to Icon we have a blast. The staff is friendly, music is good and club it really nice inside.

One of the best venues in the state of CA from SF to SD. This is the most happening place to party on Fridays and Saturday nights. Although smaller than the night clubs in Hollywood (I'm from Los Angeles), the place fills up quickly. The crowd is upscale and down to earth. The line is extremely long on Friday nights with people forming around around the block. I prefer Saturday night as it's more of a predominantly mixed crowd. Easily the best night club on Folsom and one of the top venues in California.

It's really upscale, but SOOO small !!. This place is really tiny, but very nice. Average prices for drinks and decent service from all of the staff, including the bartenders. Always being able to easily get on the guest list is nice too. I've been a few times now and have always been greeted nicely by the lady who works the guest list, and have even still been let in after arriving a little after 11 (when the guest list is supposed to close).

A complaint that I do have is that the music is not consistent. The don't seem to have the same DJ in there twice, the music has always been noticeably different. It seems like it's usually standard club hip hop, but it was mostly really thuggish bay area stuff one time, house music one time, club hip hop with lots of rock and even some 80's and 90's old school one time (not complaining about that night, hearing a mix up of more than one kind of music was great, I wish more clubs / DJ's did that). This past Saturday we arrived really early and the music was pretty good at first, but then after midnight we heard A LOT of repeats. We heard Kanye West's Gold Digger twice in 15 minutes! Then right after we heard Gold Digger again it seemed like the DJ decided to play all of the exact same club hits again, just at a higher volume. Which reminds me that the sound system there leaves a lot to be desired. It has such an upscale appearance they should also have an upscale and clear sound system.

Best Wednesday night party scene. I went for an OM records party last wednesday and was surprised to find a nightclub on a wednesday night with 200+ people having a great time. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, door guys and bartenders were really nice, it seemed like they had 10 DJ's taking turns playing some really cool funky house I could dance to and I was also surprised to find another room playing classic hip hop combined combined with james brown/prince/earthwind andfire/.... It was definately surprising, to say the least, to find a place to go on wed night; this goes out to people that cannot go out o weekends.

What a makeover! Good-bye Luna Lounge and HELLO ICON!. The old club that was at this spot was called the Luna Lounge. It was often deserted, lots of blue lighting (which made the place seem cold), and no one on the dance floor- WHAT A 180 WHEN ICON came in and took over, seriously!!!!

This is a whole new club, great interior design- warm light, attentive (even when busy) bartenders, free guestlist before 11PM and a couple VIP rooms. The dancefloor was full of people who were having a great time just like me and my friends. The DJ played a lot of hip hop, but mixed in a couple 80s favorites every now and then to change it up.

I am absolutely amazed at what a transformation happened to this spot- definitely worth checking out!

Not So Sophisticated.. I must give props to the webpage designer for Icon. The photos are pretty deceiving, though. We were all set for a night at a sophisticated, upscale club. I guess the free entry before 11pm was too good to be true. At least we didn't have to pay cover to realize this place was not so great.

It's very small and not much room for dancing if it's crowded.

Looks like it's really fun for college kids and teeny boppers, but after repeatedly getting bumped into by stumbling Paris Hilton wannabees. It was time to move on.

There's no place to sit unless you by a bottle, and then you get to share a teeny couch with your friends.

The DJ loves to play rap, so if you're into it, this is your place! Also a great place for the barely legal crowd.

My friends and I agreed this place is very overrated as far as sophistication is concerned.

Pretty inside. I thought I'd try this place out this past weekend with some friends. It was the last stop of the night and we did have fun. I only wish they would have used the larger room for hip hop. The main room was trance music - or so it seemed. The smaller room in the back (and boy do I mean small) was where the hip hop was played. Fortunately they had the good sense to install a small makeshift bar in that room. Saved you the time from going through the hallway and out to the main room. You can get on the guestlist and get in for free before 11, but since we got there around midnight it was $10. Not too bad.

More people arrived the later it got.

club icon. ok so I went last week & I like this club BUT the dj played about 1 or so of great 80's music & THEN STRAIGHT INTO RAP!!!!!!!!! I don't understand why clubs do that there are people out there that want to dance to 80's all night & THE funny thing PEOPLE left the dance floor when he started playing rap GET A CLUE dj!!!! Drinks are good

If you wanna dance.... Had a great time this past weekend for Halloween. The music was awesome -- great mix of the 92.7 dance that you'd expect with even some hip hop, Bon Jovi and Lynyrd Skynrd woven into the mix. The bartenders/staff were super nice and took care of us...crowd was fun and unpretentious. We danced for 3+ hours straight and didn't know where the time went. it's nice inside --even the bathrooms were clean. We'll be back for sure!
