I would not ever recommend going to Airport Appliance. It has been an entire year of heartache and we still cannot get what we paid for! We saved for years so that we could buy our dream kitchen and went to spend 15k on brand new appliances from Airport. The stove came scratched, the microwave is still missing parts, the wall oven delivered was not the one we purchased and the warming drawer came bent. The terrible thing is that the only way that I have been able to get anything that resembles customer service is to call the manufacturer directly... all the way to New Zealand!!! Further, I was just told two minutes ago that Airport Appliance has never stocked DCS appliances from another rude customer service lady. So, what, you only carry DCS when you are giving Airport money and not when you have issues with the damaged goods you just purchased? UGH! Never, ever even think about going to Airport Appliance in Hayward!

Pros: free bottle of water when you buy 15k worth of appliances

Cons: poor customer service, not a reputable company by any extent

I will never ever buy from them again! Went in at the beginning of Mar. to pick appliance for our kitchen remodel. We bought a stove, dishwasher, & refrigerator. I did research before I into the store so I knew what I wanted. The salesman was very condescending & kept referring the conversation back to my husband. My husband stated several times that it was up to me because it was my kitchen and I did all the research. I finally got my appliance delivered yesterday to one find out that their delivery is only to the curb side. I am 5’2” how am I to move these huge heavy appliances in to me Kitchen which is down a flight of stairs? Answer to pay an extra fee of $49 to have the delivery men take it into the kitchen. Two the refrigerator that I ordered was grossly damaged I refused the delivery. I called the store to talk to the manager to see how soon I can get anther one and let him know that I thought that the curbside delivery was unacceptable and what was I to do with my groceries that we out in my living room? His first response was that they could not get me another refrigerator until another week and a half. The second response to my grocery dilemma that is that food can go un-refrigerated for 2 hours and it would be fine. Does he not know once things are defrosted they are not to be refrozen? The manger was no help at all, didn't even bother to apologize or try rectifying the situation. I spent close to $5K ordering appliances from them & they would not even waive the $49 for the delivery men to bring the appliance into the kitchen. I told the sales man several times that we needed the appliances to delivered and installed. I was so annoyed that I told them to not even bother the order me another refrigerator. If you like to work with condescending sales people, wait for 3+ weeks for appliance delivery, pay hidden fees, and don’t mind getting horrible customer service then this is the store for you
