My Love for Shabu Shabu. Imagine tender slices of fatty beef, cooked to perfection in a clear crisp broth, and then fully immersed in rich sweet sesame sauce. Now, imagine putting those delicious slices of heavenly goodies in your mouth during a cold winter night. That was a Shabuway experience.

Ordering was very simple. There were only really a few items to choose from. Me and my friend decided to do half and half broth (Spicy Miso + Traditional Seaweed). I love spicy food but the miso broth was a little too overpowering. The meat was tasty enough just cooked with the clear broth. The regular portion of meat left me feeling a bit unfulfilled. I end up splitting another order of a large plate of beef with my friend. Although I was not sure whether the beef was really kobe beef, the quality of the meat was certainly good. They were much better than the meat you get from Little Sheep Hotpot nearby. Your order of meat also came with salad, a plate of fresh vegetable and a bowl of rice.

This place seems pretty popular. On a week day around 8 at night there were still a bit of a wait. I would definitely come here again.

Love it!. Me & my friends love it here. The food is really, really good, the atmosphere is really cool - really intimate b/c it's a small place. The people are nice & we would recommend it to anyone who loves shabu shabu!
