Love the pool!. Equinox is one of the few gyms around with an outdoor pool (on the roof!) You can always get a lane, and the pool is always clean and well heated (year round). The gym equipment is also top notch and the staff is, for the most part, very friendly.

watch out if you like weekend access or think you may ever need to cancel. I think a premier gym should have 7 day a week access. Pine St. is only open 6 days a week. I signed up at another location that had 7 day access and then moved here. I need the weekend, but when I cancelled because i just can't use the gym without the weekend, they still made me pay another month of dues. Of course it's covered in their contract, but I think it's a pretty significant discrepancy and they should have waived the 30 day cancellation policy as a courtesy since they gym I signed up at had 7 day access. They wouldn't even consider some sort of partial credit. Not fun paying another $130 for a gym I can't use. I was happy at the previous location, but this experience felt like a second rate sleezy gym squeezing every penny out of their members, not the high end facility that had attracted me in the first place.
