Chinese & healthy usually don't mesh, but that's what you'll find here. Generous portions, great service, flavorful food. Delivery available
Food served by happy and attentive
people always makes for a great experience.
I found this place by accident and I am so glad that I did. Both times (1 dine in, 1 delivery) were great!
The general's chicken and the shrimp and scallop eggplant special were recommended (I am now hooked on this eggplant dish). House fried rice was FULL of meat and shrimp which made my husband super happy and he really enjoyed his sweet and sour pork too.
Huge portions and the take out was perfectly packaged with our entrees in plastic like boxes with lids. The delivery was also pretty fast and they called when they arrived like I had asked.
They also had great brown rice that was cooked perfectly. Yum!
This place is the BOMB! The freshest Chinese food I've ever tAsted. And the prices are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly also. The place is very very clean.
Solid, good food with large portions. I kept it pretty standard with beef and broccoli, chicken chow mien, and pork potstickers with brown rice. Everything was tasty and fresh, plus our delivery was 15 min early, BONUS! I would defo order from here again.
Amazing vegan and vegetarian dishes. All authentic. Delivery drivers are always polite; I forgot to leave a tip one night with the driver and he didn't even mention it.
If you live close i would suggest this for the convenience. Food is pretty good
Consistently good, they make it easy to order healthy, the garlic broccoli salad is great, and when you eat there its always very peaceful.
for delivery, this is the best chinese
place i've found thus far.
the fake chicken dishes excellent. i've tried about 3-4 of these and although it's the same batter-fried fake meat prepared differently, it's almost always yummy. note that i suspect the fake chicken batter is not gluten free
the fried chicken wings, beef chow fun and garlic pea sprouts are also *excellent*.
the xinjiang skewers (which appear on the seamless menu but are "beef on the sticks" on their webpage) are also super yummy - beef drenched in cumin and soy sauce.
fried rice, dimsum are passably good
servings are ginormous. $40 here is about 4-5 servings for me.
Ok. Where do I start?
First off, this place is exactly what we were looking for. We're from New England, and to be honest, the chinese food here in the city differs in many ways. You don't find many American-Chinese places around in San Francisco. This place falls perfectly into that category.
Secondly, I've been looking for crab rangoon's FOREVER. To no avail. This place not only has them, but they're better than any other place I've had them before in my entire life. Without question.
We ordered two appetizers: crab rangoon's, and of course steamed BBQ pork rolls. DELICIOUS. The rangoon's were quite textured, with plenty of delicious ingredients in the center. The pork rolls were great too, steamed just right.
On to the entrees. We decided to get two entrees: Sesame Chicken, and General Tsao's Chicken. Soon we found out just how much food that meant. Very large portions, and they were great too! The Sesame Chicken was crunchy and sweet, while the General Tsao's was the perfect amount of sweet, and spicy. We could not ask for more.
The pricing. For San Francisco, simply fantastic:
Crab Rangoon's (6): $3.95
Steamed Pork BBQ Rolls (3): $3.95
Sesame Chicken: $7.95
General Tsao's Chicken: $7.95
*This was enough food to feed a family of 4, at least!
Ok, now to address the service. Fantastic. The waiter didn't pressure us during our meal, knew exactly when to come out and refill our water's, was very courteous, SPOKE PERFECT ENGLISH, and all around was just a really nice guy! We tipped him 35% because we were so pleased.
The decor was great on the inside, it looks a bit confusing when you walk up to it on the street, but once your inside you're seated in a very nice environment. The ambience was great, and it wasn't packed at all (being from New England, the overly crowded restaurants here in the city can just be too much at times). Hard wood floors that looked spotless, and very nice table setups.
I'd recommend this place to anyone. I'm curious as to why anyone would give this place a bad review. As far as my own experience here, I'd give it a 6th star if I could. We both agreed, WE'VE FINALLY FOUND OUR GO-TO CHINESE RESTAURANT HERE IN THE CITY!!
Great food at great prices.. Very nice and clean restaurant great service and a very good menu. Had the beef basil with rice. Was great. Will be back for more.
My co-workers and I order delivery from
this restaurant all the time! Even though we have never actually sat down in the restaurant, the food is amazing! I usually get the meatless chicken dishes but I have also tried their tofu also and I am never disappointed. The veggie fried rice is also very good.
The lunch specials are $6 something monday-saturday until 3 i believe and they come with rice and soup. Otherwise, the dishes are about $9 each.
My co-worker suggests their jalapeno fried rice. Lol
