Beware Vantaggio. Please don't be fooled by the 5 star review. If you are under 25 and looking to stay at a party house for a while, than this is the place for you! If you're an adult on business travel or vacation, please pick a different place!

The rooms are old, dirty, and outdated. This is not in the best neighborhood. Tenderloin consistently is 2nd in SF for crime when you Google the neighborhood. The TVs are from 1982 and some don't even have remotes! I had holey towels and stained carpets. The walls in this place are very thin and you can hear everything next to you and above you. You will not get any sleep as the kids are partying all night long especially on the weekends. This first night I was there the kids next to me were screaming, singing, running up and down the hallways, and pounding on the walls. Please note that I'm 30, so when I say "kids" I'm talking irresponsible teenageers and early 20 somethings. I called the front desk several times and noone answered. Also, someone kept pulling the fire alarm at 11 pm!

This place is absolutely horrible and it's cheap for a reason!

LOVE THIS PLACE. They are so polite and friendly and helpful. It is good value for the dollar. safe building, beautiful lobby, central location. Many things within walking distance, B of A ATM, movie theaters, restraunts, postal business, gas station, small markets and bus lines. The continental breakfast is quite nice along with central kitchen and computers for use by guests, onsite laundry, cabletv and private bath in every room. rooms are comfortable temperature. they will receive mail or packages for you also as well as faxing available for small charge.
