I thought my old front bridge was loose, but a careful examination by Dr. Castaneda showed a broken supporting tooth. After thorough discussions with me, she proposed some treatment options that my budget could handle. Once treatment began I was grateful for the extra steps she took to make the aesthetics as sound as the dental work. She made minor touch-ups to some of the other teeth--which made a surprising difference in the overall appearance. She understood my unusual bite better than any other TMJ expert I'd ever seen. I couldn't be happier with the final results and didn't need any follow-up bite adjustments! She's the best!

Dr. Castaneda was the perfect answer to my prayers for a dentist with both great scientific and artistic skills. My confidence in her was confirmed as she treated me with respect and gentleness from the very beginning, ensuring my pains were immediately attended to. She made every effort to understand my history as well as what I needed and wanted. I may have seemed to be a bit of a difficult case on several occasions, but she was always kind, patient, and gracious. She asked questions to ensure our mutual understanding and that I would be happy with the final results. No more TMD, neck, or bite pains! I will thank and bless Dr. Castaneda each and every day for all that she did and made possible for me! She also has a friendly and attentive, yet very professional, staff – Dina, Jessica, and Chris – for whom I am also very grateful.

Dr. Castaneda is one of the nicest doctors I've had the pleasure of working with. She has an excellent eye for detail and an outstanding work ethic. I had a very challenging job for her which included (3) crowns and (3) veneers and I am very pleased with the result. In addition, I also have to mention that her staff is excellent. Dina and Jessica are two of the best and brightest in ANY doctors office. Their follow up with the insurance companies is superb (and we all know how much fun that can be.) They were always very nice and accommodating which made the whole procedure that much better.

Great cosmetic results, just what I had hoped for!

After meeting with my regular dentist, an orthodontist, a cosmetic dentist, and then Dr. Rebecca Castaneda, I felt that Dr. Castaneda would produce the best results with the least amount of work. I had significant wearing of several teeth due to grinding, and my front top 4 teeth were not very straight. With some bonding and 2 veneers, she fixed my top and bottom front teeth, and a few on the side. She also developed 3 custom, clear Invisalign type braces that I wore for only 6 weeks. They were surprisingly comfortable and I could take them out to eat and when I had an important meeting or phone call. My teeth are now straight, equal in length, and they look great. I am very happy with the results. My family is very impressed too. Her staff is great and Dr. Castaneda is a true professional. I give her my highest recommendation.

Best Dentist-Prosthodontist in San Francisco

I have  just completed 20 months of dental work with Dr Castaneda and I couldn't be more thrilled with the result.

I chose Dr Casteneda to do an implant  bridge and implant crown on my 4 front teeth after doing extensive research and meeting with several dentists and prosthodontists.

From my first meeting with Dr Castaneda through to the completion of my dental work, it became increasingly clear to me that Dr Castaneda not only earns her reputation as the best prosthodontist in the  Bay Area, but is truly in a class by herself as a dental artist. 

Long after most dentists would call it finished, Dr Castaneda continued to refine and improve my restorations until they were completely comfortable and beautiful beyond my expectations.

 I am definitely not wealthy and the dental work that I needed (3 implants, one crown and a 3 tooth implant bridge) posed considerable financial hardship for me.

I was tempted to choose a dentist that was less expensive, but every time I met with Dr Castaneda the sense of mastery, commitment to excellence and genuine caring that she exemplified made me so grateful that I chose to spend a bit more to have the best work possible. 

It was the best decision I could have made.

 I am certain that none of the other dentists I had considered working with  would have had the technical and artistic skill or taken the time to create the result that Dr Castaneda achieved.  

Though she has a full and busy practice, Dr Castaneda  was completely present and always took as much time as necessary to get everything perfect.

When she was working in my mouth I had the feeling that my teeth were the most important thing in the world and she was incredibly patient with my multitude of questions, concerns and sensitivities.

I am a flute player so it was especially important to me  that my new teeth didn't affect my playing. Dr Castaneda allowed me to bring my flute to her office and spent a seemingly endless amount of time making minor adjustments until both me and my flute were happy with the results

In addition to the magnificent end result, the entire process of being a patient in Dr Castaneda's office is unlike anything I've ever experienced before in a dentists office

There is an abundance of kindness and a palpable sense of being cared for from the entire staff.  

The environment is peaceful, elegant and comforting. I've never felt so at home in a dentist's office.

Several times I would come to Dr Castenada's office immediately following dental surgery, in pain and vulnerable. The healing atmosphere and gentle caring of both the Dr and staff greatly contributed to the ease and speed of my healing

I would highly recommend Dr Castaneda to anyone needing any type of dental work.
