FAST something-for-everyone place with good food for good value!. Lee?s is a popular place. I went yesterday to get a salad and the salad/hot food bars were bustling. Lee?s is good because there?s something for everyone?you?ll be sure to find something you like. At Lee?s you can make a fresh salad or get hot asian/indian/other or soup all for $5.95/lb. I especially liked the roasted eggplant in chilis and ginger, and the stir-fried tofu in chilis. Everything else looked great. Sandwiches are also available, but I haven?t tried any. One thing about the salad bar?don?t go in expecting high-end gourmet makings. While you can make a good salad there, expect pretty ordinary toppings (cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, cherry tomatoes, corn, beans, peas, etc)?though they did have a yummy mango-balsamic dressing and some nice fresh fruit. I didn?t see exciting stuff like jicama, multiple cheeses (like blue or feta)?like I said, don?t expect a whole-foods experience. It?s a good place for old standards at a good price, fast.
