Keep on rollin.

They were willing to take time and explain to me the different options for cycling, including mountain and road. I felt I was better able to make an informed decission and purched a mid range mountain bike which I could also use in the city. The reverse would not be true. prices were highly competitvie.
- Pros: selection service price parking lot
- Cons: no used bikes (or not many)

GO for all biking needs!

I am newly into the sport of cycling and have visited many shops around SF - Performane is by far the most friendly to non-pros and has the best selection. From bikes to accessories to clothes they have it all and the staff is friendly (imagine that) and very knowledgeable. When you go to Performance ask for Ron - he is an encyclopedia of information and always has time to explain things to newbies like me.

- Cons: Still trying to find one
