now I can buy my essentials without the priying eyes of all.
What else is there to say about Costco that everyone else hasn't mentioned yet?
Well, I buy all my underwear from them and recently, I discovered that their site has an even wider variety of medical supply goods too! Thank heavens, now I can buy my essentials without the priying eyes of all other members.
Cosctco competes with Sam's Club and Costco is far superior, hands down!.
My large pantry at home really gets used because of the savings I get by buying in bulk. Or so I delude myself.
No really, need some office supplies? They have it! Need gardening do-dads, check too! My favorite is the automotive section. I really can't have enough shammies or oil for my car.

Boxes of consumer goodies are stacked as high as the eye can see at this international chain store.
In Short
Formerly known as the Price Club, this large membership-only warehouse is chock-full of almost any consumer product under the sun-in bulk, of course. With goods ranging from high-end electronics to outdoor furniture to fresh lobster, this wholesale superstore has got it (lots and lots of it!). While the high-volume and low prices appeals mainly to families and business, it's not uncommon to find college students trolling the various aisles for free food samples. The various membership options offer a range of plans, all reasonably priced. A word of warning to shopaholics: If you leave home without a list, you might spend more than you bargained for with all the deals offered.
Cancel membership, move on. There's is a lot of hype about this place, which is no better than a factory outlet with a membership fee. The employees are rude and think they are doing you a favor by answering a question. The management sets the example as their just as bad as employee's when it comes to customer service. Their products are basically low end brands from good names that apparently had no where else to dump their stock. Thier are no real savings when you consider per unit wieght instead of the whole (groceries). Avoild the store brand (Kirkland) at all cost, its horrible. Expect long lines and angry people since most registers are closed. The most important thing to remember: is that even though you pay a membership fee and patron the store, there the ones doing you the favor.
Optometry Sales Dept is Well Kept Secret!.
Nobody ever thinks about going to Costco for contacts lenses and eyeglasses - but I am glad I finally did.
The sales woman at the eyeglass counter in the SF store was very prompt and efficient, had a thorough knowledge of the lens products and provided a lot of disclosure about my order, including the warranty information.
My order was not only the lowest price I could find for the same product (Focus lenses) on and off the Web, it was filled very quickly and accurately. She even called me at home to notify me of pickup, 1 week in advance of the pickup date. What great service!
Plus, their designer frames are around $59-99 - I saw the same designer frames elsewhere for over $200. They have Armani, Jill Stuart, D&G, etc.
