GOt VERY SICK after eating at the Pleasanton Suisha house. I visited the new Pleasanton Suisha House Location on Aug 6 and we got VERY sick afterwards the same night. We ordered Toro sushi, Hamachi sushi, softshell crab roll, Greg roll, seaweed salad, miso soup. My husband had diarreah 3am the following the morning and i throughed up throughout the entire next day, we could not keep food down for the next 2-3 days after we went to this restaurant. I called the restaurant after we have gotten well and the manager refused to look into any potential causes to prevent it from happending again and just deny to have anything to do with it. So besides food that makes you sick, they have no attempt of any customer service. Be warned. Bad raw fish is not ordinary food poiisoning. It is the worse expereince I have had eating out in the US.

Very Bad service. Me and my coworkers have been there couple of times and each and every time we were amazed how long could take bring some food on the table. Confused waiters didn't know which dish belongs to what table, so they were walking around and asking everybody if it is what they wanted. We had to cancel couple of dishes because even after waiting for an hour, it wasn't ready.

The funniest thing was that our waiter (he claimed that he is the manager) couldn't split our check, because it cost him 2% more each transition. He required us to pay with ONE card, (for 5 people) or cash. Dude, why couldn't you mention it before we were ordering? Moreover, manager and other waiters barely speak English.

Highly not recommend this place.

Editorial Review. A large menu spanning Japanese cuisine and fresh sushi highlight this south peninsula restaurant.

Great Sushi, Great Service, Kid-friendly!. We started frequenting Suisha House about three years ago and have been hooked ever since. We love the sushi, but love the service and the family-friendly atmosphere even more!

Creative Sushi Rolls, Affordable Lunch Deals. I have eaten alot of sushi in my day and I can get tired of the same old roll combinations--California, Rock n' Roll, Tekka, etc, etc, etc. Suisha House is different. They have daily special, specials that their regulars invent and house special rolls. The creative combinations are endless. I recommend the White Paradise Roll with spicy salmon and cucumber on the inside and fresh salmon, citrus sauce and tobiko on the outside. The atmosphere is casual, clean and comfortable. If you like sushi, you will love Suisha House.
