Great service. I am always happy with the work they do for me.
Excellent work on two of my BMWs! I have older models, and so repairs are needed more often than on the newer models. Auto Europa has never said no to a job, and is always able to get the right parts in to get the job done!
I've always gotten excellent service from Auto Europa. They taken care of everything I've brought to them and always know what to do.
Auto Europa did a great job. They were thorough in their work and my car is now running perfectly. Thanks!
Over the years I've been to Auto Europa many times and I'd definitely recommend them. They are honest and they do excellent work.
Horrible Communication, Incompetent, Expensive, Slow – I first brought my car (a 2002 Mini Cooper) in over 2 weeks ago with an electrical problem which they diagnosed as being a bad alternator. I was told it would be about $1,000 ($600 for the alternator, $400 for labor) to fix, and that I should wait for an e-mail quote. While I was waiting for the quote I called around a bit for how much others would charge for the same work, and I did not find anyone else that would charge that much (not even the BMW dealership - who themselves even said they had one of the highest rates in the country). However since I didn't want to deal with towing it to another shop, I decided to have them do the work. Unfortunately they were very unresponsive and I had to call multiple times over the period of a few days to get the e-mail quote ($882.54), which I promptly replied to so that they would start the work. When I picked up the car, I was charged $955.81, which was more than the quote. After complaining a bit I was refunded $67.50.
After 2 days the problem reappeared, so I took it back. They replaced the alternator again, but said that additional repairs ($774.33 for some simple things which seemed very over-priced) were needed to prevent the alternator from failing again. I paid the extra cost, just trying to get my car back. After a few hours the problem reappeared, so I took it back again.
It has now been over a week since I dropped it off the last time, and I have not heard anything from them. Multiple calls and messages have not yielded any response. It is fairly horrific how bad the communication is, and it's fairly clear that they are not competent, at least not when it comes to Mini Coopers. There is an adage: "Fast, Good, and Cheap - Pick 2". It's a shame that with Auto Europa, you can't even pick one.
My mechanic – Ron Mifsud has been my mechanic for 3years. He did engine replacement on my Jaguar XJ6 '86, and she drives like a champ. True to the Jaguar rep., there were a bunch of gremlins in the car, and Ron tackled them all. The car has run great since he finished work a year ago. I take my corvette and my wife takes her car to Ron, he does great work on American cars too. The respect I have for Ron has endured from day one. I enjoy inspecting his project cars in the shop- old roadsters and coupes. Solid work and honest man. Barbara is manager and operates the place, she can get it done for you, and cost of repairs far more affordable than dealer.
Peace of Mind is Priceless . . . Auto Europa Delivers!!! – So, I got "stuck" with a family Land Rover (ha ha) and was searching for a place that would service the car for me and would be convenient. I know absolutely nothing about cars, and honestly, I was looking for convenience. Since I always overcomitt myself to doing things, I had to have a place that I could sneak out from the office at lunch and make it back on time. Let me tell you that I got so lucky, I've been going to Auto Europa since March (I think) of 2007 and have not looked back. Not only did Barbara and the rest of the team give me a detailed invoice of all the work they were doing, a reasonable price (I had to ask friends at least about that), but they also took time to teach me a little about my car engine. Also, any time I used to freak out about any little squeak the car had, they not only let me leave the car but would explain to me in the best way possible what was going on (or not going on). They have never done any work I didn't authorize, or suggest for me to do any work unless it was absolutely necessary. The whole team is great, very friendly and since I have been going to AE for a while now, I feel at home when I leave my LR in their hands. I know that in our busy schedules convenience is one of the things we look for, but when I leave Auto Europa, I leave with peace of mind that my car has been well taken care of and that, my dear(s) is priceless to me. You (yes, I'm talking to you) should give them a try. I am 100% certain you will not be dissapointed.
Best European Car Service!! – Auto Europa has been the Best Auto repair shop that I have been to! The owner (Ron) is very professional, honest and does great work.( A shop that stands behind their work) He serviced my XJ8 Jaguar and took care of a oil leak that another repair shop didn't. The Staff is very friendly and I for the first time didn't have one problem with my Jaguar. I would recomend Auto Europa to anybody. They also do car RESTORATIONS! Keep up the Good Work Guys!!!
Review update – I was contacted by the owner in regards to the review (below) and everything was 'set straight' in a professional manner and with an honest explanation as to what happened with my EAS diagnosis and the delay in fixing the problem. This was greatly appreciated, and I now feel that I can recommend their service on Rovers to anyone.
