I'am very happy that Radical Tan, open in Potrero Hill. Before, I use to travel at least 30 min. to get a tan, and parking, not fun. Here there is parking at the street, and they have wonderful tanning units. I love it.

After reading the reviews, I expected Radical Tan to be a good place to go but I was sure disappointed. First of all, this place is more expensive than the other places I've been to. The beds are better than those other places but I had the same results. Second, the room had no music at all. And since this location is located right next to a gym, it is very loud. I could hear exactly what the aerobics instructor is saying. Third, customer service was nice but he suggested the wrong lotion for me. I wanted one without a self-tanner and he was certain that the one he gave me was only a bronzer not a self-tanner. Once I put it on, I knew it was a self-tanner. Another thing is that Radical Tan is more high tech. They have a system where they scan your ID and thumb print so it makes it easier to sign it the next time. Although I didn't feel safe about doing all that, I did it anyways. I'm very cautious about these things. This place isn't bad if you don't mind the stuff I listed. You can give it a try for yourself.
