Poor Food, Poor Service. Prime on the Avenue is a bad restaurant pretending to be upscale. The inner decor has changed very little from the previous Chinese Restaurant which used to operate here. The service is poor, mostly because of the arrogant and condescending attitudes of the wait service. The food, while priced in-line of a high class restaurant, is anything but. Steaks were overcooked, turning even medium rare steaks into charred rubber. The desserts are adequate but relatively standard. Prime on the Avenue thinks that they are better than they really are, and for the prices, I wish they were better.

Editorial Review. Traditional bar and steakhouse serves prime rib, broiled chicken, lamb and seafood; special banquet service available in the daytime.
