Fantastic!!!!.

Environment is fantastic. Its classy, its cozy, and its very lovely decorated.
New owners are wonderful two ladies who are extremely friendly.
Fly Trap keeps getting better and better!. Something very nice is happening at flytrap. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with wonderful live music and a very freindly server named Thomas who helped us out of our coats and into a great booth in the corner. The lamb and the skewers were the biggest hits at our table, and the David Bruce Pinot noir was excellent. We definetly got the impression that this place was changing and you could tell by the friendly and attentive staff who were happy to do anything we asked of them. The rest of the tables were packed with couples drinking champagne on rose petaled tables. It was such a romantic place! Everyone that dined with us on that saturday called afterard to thank me for such a wonderful dinner, i simply had to write something on here. I will definetly be going back. hope you enjoy!
Tat. Both my boyfriend and I certainly enjoyed our visit to The Fly Trap Restaurant last Friday. Very romantic. The food was outstanding and the service they provided was extraordinary. We really enjoyed the live piano music that they have. My advice is not to be seated next to the piano, because it can get kind of loud.
Valentine's Day - mixed bag. Wonderful food, warm, romantic atmosphere, but very disappointed over having to wait 50 minutes past our 8pm scheduled reservation. We were just about to walk out when our table was called. Thankfully the delicious crabcakes, flavorful lamb chops and amazingly decadent desserts made up for the wait.
Fly Trap Service "Buggy". I have been to this restaurant on a few occasions and my experiences in the past, as far as service is concerned, have been fair. Well, as of today, I would say Fly Trap needs to REALLY scrutinize their waitstaff. The waitress did not know what sort of fish was in the "Fry" dish listed on the lunch menu. She then disappeared and was replaced by a gentleman who, though attentive, was terse in demeanor. Good food, nice ambiance, need to re-train or replace current waitstaff as of 07/09/03.
Great food, mezzo-mezzo service. I've been a semi-regular at the Fly Trap for many years and have never been disappointed until this evening. On the plus side, the food has always been terrific, perfect prep and presentation. On the minus side, service can be dicey. Our party's server tonight was pleasant at first, but quite slow and seldom seen throughout the meal. Her initial amiability vanished when we declined dessert, then became downright frosty when, after paying the bill in cash, we had the nerve (after about 20 minutes) to ask for our change (she apparently thought it was all hers, which in this case would've been about a 30 percent tip). But hopefully this was an isolated case. The food's the main thing!
