I am writing this testimonial because I wanted people to realize how great it is to find an executive coach that knows how to get the results you're looking for. Nick has been really great to know! He has helped me with my massage business to increase my referrals and I know that he has also helped a couple of friends of mine to get great new jobs. Great coach!

Nick helped me grow my business to three offices. He helped me launch the business, figure out my business plan, competitive differentiation and marketing. Over the years he has helped me develop my leadership skills and long term career planning. I am very satisfied with both my life and career and Nick was a great coach.

Did not quite fulfill my needs

The reason for my mediocre rating is not because I believe Nick's services are mediocre, but because I did not find it to be a good fit for me.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and was looking for launch my career with whatever I could get my hands with. I do not have too much work experience so my resume's not too flashy. I met with Nick and he spent about an hour on my resume. It seemed like there wasn't too much for him to work with and he was trying to turn (feces) into gold.

I appreciate the effort, but at the rate of $150/hour, I feel like I really didn't get enough out of the session. He offered me great tips on where to look for jobs but unfortunately I find most of that not relevant to me, probably because of my degree. I feel better about my resume now but unfortunately I feel his services were not a good fit for me - as someone with little experience. I think he's more suitable for people that are in finance, management or business related fields. I'd suggest give him a try if you're desperate.

Inspiration and Insight

Career transitions often feel lonely and terrifying because you're going through giant changes when the rest of the world seems to just spin in place I'm no exception, and was looking for feedback on my career transition process. I hoped Nick could provide a seasoned perspective and help pinpoint my personal and professional strengths. When life gets confusing, wisdom and clarity are priceless.

An hour and a half with Nick was time well spent and we covered a lot of ground. Nick helped me inventory my personal and career skills gained over the last 20 years. At the same time he was patient, and in fact, encouraged me to reflect carefully on the achievements I feel most proud of. This was not a "fill in the blanks" kind of workshop, it was very interactive. Nick is bright, experienced, and thorough. He even identified some areas of mastery and focus that I had simply taken for granted. True to my expectations, Nick gave insightful and direct feedback, as well as generating some new ideas that I am currently pursuing with great success.

I will be coming back to Nick in 6 months for a check-up. He's a top-notch coach. Here is how I describe Nick to the friends I've recommend him to: very professional and dedicated to my success; excellent listener, high emotional intelligence; broad and deep business experience; great sense of humor, but is no nonsense; Nick calls it like it is. In my book, EQ, IQ, and experience add up to wisdom. I feel more confident knowing Nick is in my corner. Will continue to recommend him!

An Hour with Nick Parham, and I Beat Out the Competition

Upon invitation to interview for an exciting and challenging new position, I contacted Nick Parham for Interview Coaching. A colleague had worked with him to prepare for a round of difficult interviews preceding a large promotion and reported amazing (and successful) results. My interview was for the most exciting position I’ve ever had, and I felt confident that working with Nick would increase my chances of getting the job.

Nick’s ability to pinpoint my strengths and teach me how to assert them was eye-opening. His interview coaching gave me the confidence to sell my attributes, speak definitely about my successes, and show the company how I was the best person for the job.
