In Short – Streamlined furnishings and housewares from sleek, white chaises to stately lamps mingle with slender potted trees this eclectic shop. Items like curvaceous porcelain vases in organic shapes and fountains with sculptural detailing are characteristic of the earth-meets-high design ethos here. Decorative vessels for showcasing plants both inside and outside one's domicile abound, while richly scented candles, Scandinavian tableware and cocktail accessories address the party host's every need.
Best Home & Garden Store in San Francisco

Store owner John Giacomazzi is as lovely and interesting as his carefully selected objects and furniture from Belgium, Italy and Paris. Opened only in December 2005, it is fast becoming the go-to spot for the right gift or just a little visual and aesthetic push. Love the Jackson Square area. Parking is easy with an hourly lot right behind the building (or valet park next door at Scott Howard). Scott Howard and Myth Restaurants are nearby for after shopping lunch or more langourous dinner.
