Editorial Review for WINE Bar & Shop – by Davina Baum
In Short
The sign out front is deceptively simple: "Wine." Inside, curvaceous lines and jewel-toned upholstery warm up the space while a carefully chosen selection of wines warm up the patrons. Pick a three-ounce taste, a six-ounce glass, or a full red or white wine flight--the menu changes weekly. A light menu features mostly local, artisanal fare: A plate of charcuterie or smoked salmon provides fuel for more wine. The retail section offers bottles to grab and go.

This is a cool spot for after work drinks and appetizers. Great location, close to everything. Last week, I was at the Farmers Market and after we made it through the crowds, my girlfriend and I just wanted a quiet spot to enjoy the day. We wandered over to the Wine Bar and it was great. During the week, it can get crowded but on the weekend, our waitress told us the work crowd is gone and they rarely are crowded. Plus parking is free with validation on the weekend For us, great service, great wine and a nice cheese platter was a perfect mid day treat. I definitely will be back.
Pros: Great location, good service, wine and appetizers
Cons: None

My girlfriend and I ended up going to Wine Bar over the weekend before we went to the movies nearby. The service was great and plenty of wines to choose from. It's a great place for a Saturday afternoon.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: Parking
