In Short
This large, luxurious yoga compound welcomes visitors with a massive entrance lounge and retail space, which features high ceilings, deep plush settees and complimentary tea service. Three large studios host more than 100 classes weekly from Iyengar to Ashtanga, power to prenatal. More amenities include well-appointed changing rooms with showers; top-quality equipment (mats are hung to maintain cushion and cleanliness); and massage treatments from Marin-based spa Tea Garden Springs. Dues are steep, but membership includes unlimited classes.

I have attended both Marin studios off and on for years and newly at the SF studio and the main feeling I get from the front desk to the teachers has always been kindness and welcoming. No matter what mood I come in I always leave feeling fantastic due to an excellent workout and the skilled instruction! The teachers are amazing! Me and my friends rave about Pete Chandonnet, Catherine Shaddix, Amynthas Franco (check out his lunch time drop in class which is only $14) and Peggy Orr just to name a few! Before or after your class you can indulge in a hot cup of tea provided by the studio. I feel so lucky that this haven exists in the heart of the city.... check it out!!
Pros: value for your money; feel amazing when you leave
Cons: parking - but hey, it's San Francisco!! (Marin classes have tons of free parking!)

Had heard about this studio but had a hard time finding it on City Search. Went there this weekend - very cool. I'm new to Yoga and took one of their Intro Workshops. Had a fantastic teacher and felt very comfortable. My teacher (Michele Klink) was so kind. I couldn't help but fall in love with the studio.
