Almost nothing!. brought a friend with me here thinking it was going to be great, honestly i'd rather go to the salvation army because that thrift store had hardly anything!
Gucci, Chanel, Prada lover's paradise!.
OMG! This is the best place for used designer stuff! I couldn't decide between the Dior, Marc Jacobs, or Chanel handbag...I ended up with a shopping bag full of stuff along with the vintage Chanel tote! I came back the next day and the salespeople were putting out more stuff! I couldn't resist
a vintage mink jacket with fox trim that had just been dropped off! When I got home, I got inspired to pull out my designer stuff and brought it over to consign. I'll get 40% of what they sell it for...recycling at its best!
Best Couture Selection in town!. The Designer Consigner's second location in Union Square is amazing! I didn't think they could out do their original location, but they have! I couldn't believe the selection! There was a section devoted just to Chanel, and and entire wall just to St.John! Of course i left with a gorgeos black pinstriped dolce gabbana pantsuit! I was told that a lot of their merchandise comes from the ladies who actually work at Saks, Neimans, or couture boutiques just around the corner. Apparently, they shed their designer clothes faster than the women they sell to!
I am so happy for this second location!. Now that they have opened a second location in union square I can pop over after work or at lunch time. I have found a lot of excellent styles to chose from here. A lot of great suits and of course all the other accessories that the other store has.
Well-appointed women's consignment boutique specializing in couture..
In Short
Both locations of this upscale shop cater to well-heeled consigners and customers seeking bargain-priced couture. Clothing, shoes, bags and jewelry range in design quality from Ann Taylor and up, often reaching brand heights as coveted as Chanel and Hermes. Unless it's vintage, no fashion more than three years old will be accepted, and seasonal merchandise is preferred. Frequent customers can be notified when new stock comes in, and checks are sent directly to consigners.
