Great Breakfast/Lunch Spot..... You have to get in early, but it's a great place for coffee and just to sit and read and enjoy delicious breakfast items. The people who work there are very pleasant and nice and it's very much a neighborhood place where people that work along Fillmore and live in the area come to do their do in the morning. The only exception is on the weekend where it is innodated with "out of towners" and you can't sit, have to wait in a line and it's just a bustle, but comes with the turf of that street, all places are like that. For Breakfast and Lunch during the week, can't be beat.

Great place for lunch. Great for lunch. The open-faced sandwiches are so good. The daily specials are excellent. I've tried the mussels (thursday's (?) special) and the seared-cod sandwich (friday's special) and both were really good. Affordable, too, at about $10. The canelles and macaroons are to die for. The ready made sandwiches are great too, made with chewy, yummy bread. And super cheap at about $3.

Fresh breads, pastries, open-faced sandwiches and other French favorites from Pascal Rigo.. High ceilings, rustic detailing and an upscale, Fillmore Street ambience mark this French-style bakery and cafe, sister to famed restaurateur Rigo's four other local boulangeries. Francophiles fill the airy space intent on their open-faced tartines and warm cafes au lait. Brunch fare includes three-egg omelets with a variety of gourmet ingredients such as imported cheeses and smoked salmon, or thick brioche French toast with fruit salad.
