Clean, Modern Restaurant with Good Food.
After having tried a few places in Japantown, I was not impressed and went on a search for authentic, tasty Korean food. I haven't tried Brothers yet, but I can say that this place is very good. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and clean (more than what I can say after peering into Brothers). The wait staff was friendly and the bbq was tasty. Definitely a place that my parents (Korean natives) will appreciate when they visit the city.

Nice atmosphere and real Korean food.
I have to admit after reading the previous reviews, I was a little reluctant to try this restaurant. Being half Korean, growing up eating homemade korean dishes I can truly say that I know what good Korean food is. Hanuri is the real deal! Not only did I meet the nice Korean owner but noticed my first night there, that the clientele were Koreans. A good sign that the food is authentic and good Korean food. The true test was approval from my very picky Korean Mother.

Over priced food.
way too over priced for the small portion of bbq beef and pork that we ordered. our tab came out to about $86 for 4 people. none of us were full. won't be coming back.

highly recommended.
I've finally found a real authentic Korean barbeque restaurant in SF.
The food was very fresh and the customer service was well above decent (particularly for a korean restaurant).
The interior was very unique and modern - nice fusion of genuinely antique yet modernish feel. The place definitely has something going on.
There was a bunch of pictures of the customers on the wall and it seems like a lot of celebrities have been
here. Didn't know our mayor likes korean cuisine.
You'll definitely enjoy dining here, especially if you are looking for a Korean cuisine experience that is somewhat different from the rest yet still authentic.

Overpriced Mediocre Korean Food.
What made it really bad was I had to go to the bathroom a zillion times when I got home after dinner. What a bad deal. I'm never going back again.

Swanky Richmond restaurant offers authentic Korean barbecue and other traditional dishes..
In Short
Forget the sticky tongs and sweat. The staff cooks your meat for you on a fragrant wooden charcoal barbecue in the classy, dark leather and stone appointed dining room. From the kalbi, marinated and broiled short ribs, to the bulgogi jungol, thinly sliced beef cooked with noodles and vegetables, all arrive on delicate Korean dishware and accompanied by countless, spicy condiments, including kimchee, bean sprouts, and pickled potatoes.

The Soul of Korea.
I travel to Asia and also lived there 15 years. In San Francisco I look for the same high quality restaurants I grew accustomed to overseas. Hanuri, a new restaurant on Geary offering Korean cuisine, is a great addition to the city with superb food, comfortable decor and reasonable prices. It's a great addition to the city.
