In Short
A modern, urban equivalent of the sewing bee happens at this local "lounge," where customers can buy singular creations off the rack--or make them themselves with the help of instructors, supplies and equipment. Lessons on refashioning old clothing and creating new gifts and creations are available. Beginners and professionals are equally welcome. Designers use the space as an "open studio" to showcase their wares. Bright, fun decor adds to the upbeat, friendly atmosphere.

I took the Uber Sewing Basics class recently and had a great experience. I learned ALL the basics and the teacher was very friendly and ever so patient. The class size was limited as well so there was plenty of time for one on one help and questions. They have a great range of classes for begginners as well as advanced sewers.

i recently started taking sewing classes at Stitch. i took uber sewing basics to start, since i had no idea how to operate a sewing machine. the instructor was very friendly & helpful, and i left with enough know-how & confidence to go and buy my own machine. now im making pillows & curtains! tonight is my Handbags I class, I cant wait! stitch is great!

i've always wanted to learn how to sew, but never got around to it until stitch moved into my neighborhood. i signed up for and took a sewing basics class and then a handbags class. the teachers here are great, the atmosphere is fun and encouraging, and i walked out of there with an adorable bag and the confidence to continue experimenting! definitely worth the money. i heart stitch!
