In Short – Tourists, ladies who lunch and downtown workers in need of a break head to this 9,000-square-foot oasis of luxury, which includes treatment rooms, elegantly appointed men's and women's lounges and a product boutique. Visitors are greeted with champagne and truffles and the indulgence extends to custom-designed facials and massages. Cellulite treatments, manicures and pedicures, body scrubs, waxing, wraps and sunless tanning are also offered.

beautiful

very nice spa, but over priced in my opinion. The facility is great so if you're looking for a place you can lounge around all day you should come here. But for results of the treatments that you get on a normal basis, I would go elsewhere.

  • Pros: pool, hot tub, sauna atmosphere
  • Cons: treatments are so so - price is high

great facility

I got treated to a massage at Remede as a surprise and it was a wonderful experience. The facility is great with a pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room you can enjoy before or after your treatments. I had a massage which was nice, but not anything too special. I really love the amenities but don't think the treatments are the best. If you're looking for a spa where you can hang out throught the day with friends for a special occassion, but if you're looking for spectacular treatments I'd go elsewhere. Overall I do like this spa and am sure I will return.

Not worth all the hype

by trugem at Citysearch

I was so excited to get a facial at Remede since I heard that the spa was really nice and I love visiting the St. Regis. The waiting area is super luxurious and full of wonderful goodies, but that is the only part that I loved about my whole experience. Instead of choosing what kind of service you want, they only have one option which is that they "customize" according to what your needs are. The room was starck and cold, it totally felt like I was going to the dentist or doctor's office. My esthetician was nice, but her solution was microdermabrasion when I wanted relaxation and massage. I felt rushed and left feeling really disappointed. My skin also looked the same the day after. For the amount of money that I paid, it was NOT worth it. There are other spas out there that are much better.

  • Pros: luxurious waiting area
  • Cons: expensive, lack of ambiance in the rooms, mediocre facial
