Experience a bit of Key West in North Beach at this wide-open cocktail bar and Cuban eatery, where flavorful choices such as grilled plantains and tangy sauteed shrimp camarones average between $4 and $6. A hayloft DJ station overlooks the 15-table dining area and live-music stage. Fresh murals in blues, greens and burnt reds offset the enormous, old-time bar topped with shellacked stone. High above, a row of ceiling fans cools down the spicy scene.

Fun crowd and cool bartenders!

I have been here for afterwork drinks and later in the evening to see great live music. They always have fun music and I love that they have $1.00 tacos everyday! The bartenders are cool, never ignore you like in some places. This is one of my favorate neighborhood spots!

I've been to this bar several times and it never disappoints! Great talents that perform here on weekends and the food is great during happy hour. Great staff, very attentive and kind. I go there every time I'm in North Beach!
