Citysearch Editorial Review. Five minutes at this awesome geek boutique will reveal almost any grownup’s Peter Pan complex. Shelf after shelf of gleaming anime figurines, day-glow vampire tennis players, Godzilla-like creatures and other J-pop toys line the walls, waiting to be collected. For the more literary minded, Super 7offers a large selection of books from the local (a photographic compilation of San Francisco’s bike messengers) to the downright hilarious (an entire tome dedicated to African scammer emails). There are also in-house designed t-shirts that combine manic Japanese illustrations with kitschy slogans like, “Martial Arts Garfunkel.” Part curiosity shop part art/book/fashion store, Super 7, will turn you into the collector you never wanted to be.
