good gelato for not being Italy. I've had amazing gelato in Italy- for being San Francisco it was great! : ) Very extensive menu- but I think they're in a bad spot- hard to know it exists unless you know the neighborhood!

BEST GELATO JUST LIKE IN ITALY MAYBE BECAUSE IS MADE BY ITALIANS?. i lived few years in Italy and this gelato is great just like the one i had 4 times a week in the italian piazzas

flavors changes and are made on the spot .... ..can't get better

A classic Italian gelateria and cafe in the heart of the Mission.. In Short
Italian owner and gelato artisan Mauro Pilsor imports all of his ingredients--except fresh fruits and purees--from his homeland. Black cherry, tiramisu and green apple are just a few of the nearly 30 flavors made fresh daily without any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Pilsor's quaint, corner storefront is awash with sunshine and samples are given cheerfully and generously. Soy gelato is also available, as well as fresh-made salads, crepes and sandwiches.
