good gelato for not being Italy.
I've had amazing gelato in Italy- for being San Francisco it was great! : ) Very extensive menu- but I think they're in a bad spot- hard to know it exists unless you know the neighborhood!

In Short Italian owner and gelato artisan Mauro Pilsor imports all of his ingredients--except fresh fruits and purees--from his homeland. Black cherry, tiramisu and green apple are just a few of the nearly 30 flavors made fresh daily without any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Pilsor's quaint, corner storefront is awash with sunshine and samples are given cheerfully and generously. Soy gelato is also available, as well as fresh-made salads, crepes and sandwiches.
