Rave Reviews!. My only hesitation in writing a review of Acme is that I won't be able to get an appointment! This is a wonderful, down to earth salon with talented hair dressers that have great skills. The hair products are luxurious as is the service and without the overtly hipster vibe that some hair salons embrace. Don't get me wrong: Acme is absolutely HIP, but it is not a scene. If you want her hair cut and/or colored RIGHT (and who doesn't?) go to Acme. Just please let me still be able to get an appointment!

Truly skilled. The Anvil Hair Design is a clean, friendly, salon that has a trained group of stylists. Luna is the most current stylist to join the team. I was pleased to "hook up" with Luna who is knowledgeable about hair and makeup. Luna has stayed current with the latest products and styles. Luna has worked in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and New York. If you want a great cut, great color and, great conversation, ask for Luna. You will be very pleased. Though Luna work works at the Anvil Hair Design Salon, you can reach Luna directly by calling and leaving a message with your request for services, the time and day you would like to come in, and Luna will return your call. Move over supercuts Here comes Tammye. Ever heard of a little punk girl named Tammye, well you will soon. She's a little girl with a big attitude, she will take your plain jane hair do, and rock you out. I first sent my boyfriend, who is in a band and told her to jack his hair up, and it was nothing short of genius. Then I came in, now I didn't want to be too extreme, but I did want an edge. And of course it was a work of art. I would recommend all people with an edge to go see this girl.

so glad. to have found Jeremy again. I went to him about a year ago at Notorious when he saved my hair. It was completely too blonde, brassy, and eugh when I walked in, and when I walked out I was a happy redhead. I was sooo upset when I heard he had left Notorious. I tried other places in the meantime, but they were only okay and way too pricey.

By a stroke of luck, I found that Jeremy was here. He took my blonde and red highlights, which were okay, and turned me back into a brunette. Not just brunette, but with subtle color variations. He topped that off with a hair cut that was the least boring I've had in years. All of this, mind you, with my coarse Asian hair.

What I like about Jeremy the most is his absolute concentration when he is working. He is paying attention to YOU and coming up with some creative ideas about where to take your hair next. I recommend him to anyone!

An absolutely great cut w/o the price!. I brought in a picture of the style that I wanted. Sure enough, Jeremy was able to replicate the exact look. Jeremy was an absolute doll and perfectionist. Look at the picture; cut the hair; study picture; cut hair. Their products were the best I've had! The damage? $25 w/o tip! Unbelievable. Jeremy, you have a repeat customer in me. Thanks!

Best Hair Color in the Castro. Have you ever been to a stylist and thought, "were not on the same page", well not at Acme Cuts. I went to see Jeremy after checking him out on Acme cuts live webcam and checking his review on here and was nothing less than empressed by his talent. I had asked for a couple highlights and after I left the salon I had an art piece on my head. I had never recieved so many compliments in my life. I would just like to thank Jeremy and Acme cuts for this amazing experience. Since I went to Acme cuts I've referred 3 of my girlfriends and they all had the same experience. Thanks Jeremy and I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Truly great stylists. I have been to expensive and inexpensive places, getting my hair cut by a myriad of stylists. No one compares to Jeremy at Acme. He is exceptionally responsive to what you want but, more importantly, has great since of style and a creative flair that instills just the right amount of "edge" to an otherwise flawless haircut. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
