I guess you can go for the ambiance..... The food was somewhat of a joke as I had ordered stir fried noodles with pork, a real simple thai dish, but what came out of the kitchen was very few noodles with tons of vegetables. Heck, if I wanted vegetables, I would of ordered a vegetarian dish. Also there were two Kings of thai down the street on clement that was much better w/o the cheesy Ikea decor.
Excellent Thai with fast delivery. Second time in one month and the food is delicious. If you are in Soma, you probably go to Manora, if in Hayes Valley or Lower Haight, Thep Phenom. But out in the Richmond, you need to go to Be My Guest. In addition to excellent classic dishes, they have wonderfully creative plates like "Traffic Jam Curry" that let's you try three types (Red, Green, Yellow). "L.A. ish" atmosphere without pretense. Two very different looks between lunch and dinner. Full bar as well! Super fast free delivery if you want to stay tucked in at home. Try it!
Fantastic food and great atmosphere!. A hidden gem in the Richmond, this is quite possibly the best Thai restaurant in San Francisco! At first the trendy looks made us think the food cannot possibly be authentic. We could not have been more wrong. The food is great, even my wife who was born and raised in Thailand agrees! I don't know of any other Thai restaurant in San Francisco with a hip scene, cool bar, and awesome Thai food!
Nice amb- avg food slow staff, poor drink service. Friday night 6pm -We were a party of 7 with only one or two other tables in the entire restaurant. Ordered drinks first, I asked for a bloody mary w/ double olive. I was asked "double what?". I replied "double olive." the waitress looked at me perplexed. Lets make a long story short... my drink came.. no olives, gross black tipped celery stick instead. Food came in a resonable time but apetizers very salty as were a lot of their dishes. Nice ambiance but that's about it. The bill took forever to come, at least 10 minutes after I asked for it. Would not recommend.
CRISPY DUCK IS AMAZING. delivery was very fast, and the person taking my order was very helpful, she suggested the crispy duck, which was AMAZING as a starter. and big enough to share for two. portions were huge and price was fair :) i will definitley try it again in the future.
A little bit of Downtown in the Richmond.. As you walk the streets of the Inner Richmond, you will find a variety of cheap and slightly satisfying meals. Be My Guest, however, breaks the mold on all accounts. The trendy setting makes you feel like you've stepped into one of the fancy downtown eateries and yet the wonderful service and amazing food reminds you that you're in a tightly knit neighborhood. The food is affordable, flavorful, and vegi-friendly. It's perfect for everything from a casual lunch to a romantic dinner. If you haven't had a chance to go, take the opportunity now, and be my guest....
New fav. Living in the inner richmond, there are plenty of options for international cuisine, but "Be My Guest" is tops. The style inside is like an LA club, without being pretentious. The food was super tasty, and the service prompt. We enjoyed our experience from beginning to end. They even have strong cocktails. The Traffic Jam is a great way to sample their excellent curries.
Fabulous Thai Bistro. Such a nice style! Very good food and nice presentation. Good quality and reasonable price. Atmosphere is more unique, bright and very cool.
Great new neighborhood spot. I have walked by this restaurant since it opened and last week I decided to give it a try. I am glad that I did. The food was excellent (I am vegetarian and there were many choices) and especially try the Green Curry!
Upscale and awesome Thai Bistro in Inner Richmond. I went to Be My Guest Thai Bistro for the 1st time with friends, we had Be My Guest Trio, Fish cake with salty egg yolk(really good), green papaya salad and fresh spring rolls for starters. Then we shared 5 different entrees which are Sea bass with ginger sauce, mango tango Prawns, Crab fried rice, roasted duck in red curry sauce, and traffic jam curry. They had very nice presentation, nicely prepared and beautiful. The fried rice with crab was well balanced with coconut rice. Roasted duck curry with roti was a good combination, it was medium spicy and yummy. The food was wonderful. Atmosphers is upscale and fabulous! This is the best place that my friends and I agreed to chilled out every Fri night. Then we had some complimentary desserts from the house. Awesome food, great service. We are happy to be there again and again. Five thumbs-up!!!
