Great but not Awesome. Went to this spot after finding it on City Search. Wanted to try something new to celebrate my birthday. While it was a blessing to find a place that isn't packed shoulder to shoulder, the place could have used a few more people. The staff were very nice. Some of them speak french. One of the owners bought us a round of shots to celebrate. Overall, we had a great time because we brought about 10 people with us. With a smaller group, I probably would have been bored with the empty space.

Great place to spend the evening.... I frequent Los Angeles, Miami and SF and this club is one of my favorites. Not only is the music excellent but the atmosphere is superb and the general feel of the club is more european style/cozy than what most of the US is used to. It is also nice to be in a place that is full of beautiful people. Make sure to check out the VIP section upstairs...

under the radar with good people. I went to this unknown spot friday, many of my friends have already set up camp there. I had a great time, the doormen where friendly. Drinks came surprisingly quickly thanks to the friendly but strickly-business bartenders. what I liked most was the local crowd. Lots of good looking ladies, not too many sanjose knuckleheads which swarm two blocks down on folsom. I hope the door men can keep it up. Some may not be blown away by this space it doesn't look like they paid alot of attention to detailing, that's never stopped a good time. Frenchy crew was great , I'd like wonder what other kinds of musical talent they can bring in, be nice to see some new rock or electro clash mixed in.Music will probably be the determining factor of success or failure cause. I will definitly be there this friday.

Sexy, Stylish, Sleek.... I have not had a friday night like this in a LONG TIME!! Great music, amazing ambiance, and what a team. The most stylish security in town...they alone can make for an interesting night and the owners were very welcoming. They checked out coats and gave us duplex shots to get the night started. The place was comfortably packed until 2am. We look forward to going again! I heard they are starting Happy Hour on Thursday and Friday.

dead on saturday. Went to check out this new spot on Saturday and it was DEAD. We were there till 11:30p. The crowd was not particularly attractive or well dressed. Just kind of bland. Decor was mediocre as well. If you're thinking about going, send one person in to check it out first so you don't all get screwed paying a big cover charge for nothing.

very chill, great vibe, dig it. ok, so in the middle of nowhere and needs some other places around it, but a very kewl vibe, great lighting, very slick european type bar, kinda like barfly in paris or any bar in the born in barcelona. french bartenders are chill too, good to see charles behind the bar as well, clientele - french, but good music, great space, if it were just in another part of the city ... you have to drive, which isn't a good idea after my 9th cocktail, but that's just me, perhaps you can handle more.

lazy bartender. Maybe it was busy for a thursday night, but I've never had a lazier bartender. After asking for our order, he looked annoyed and said, 'I'll come back to you.' He guilted my friend out of ordering the caipirinha special. If ordering mojitos and martinis is such an annoying time-suck maybe you should stick with a beer/wine menu. Drinks were overpriced & poorly-made. Felt like he made up the prices as he went.

This place has great atmosphere and music, but if you expect to charge high-end prices, you better find bartenders with more experience and less attitude.

doing it with style. I went to Duplex on Friday night and what a night it was!!! Great music, great dancing, delicious drinks and the most accommodating staff you'll find in SF. If you want a fabulous night out go to Duplex and you won't ever be disappointed.
