In Short
Neighborhood couples and tourists are happy to take a break and chill in this eclectic hippie-fied space replete with plants, brightly painted walls and folk music. On sunny days, the back patio is a secluded spot for a glass of wine off the extensive list, and staff fires up the heat lamps in the evening. Dishes, made with organic ingredients, include grilled salmon filet with basil-pesto aioli and grilled lamb sirloin with rosemary and wild mushroom sauce.

I eat here mainly for dinner, food is always excellent. penne pasta is great as is kofta, eggplant etc.. my husband loves the lamb and meat kebab. we have 1 small kid and they waiter is always very friendly and accomodating to us. they have a pretty back garden whch is very busy on brunch, hard to get seating. ambience is nice and you can just relax and enjoy good food........

i have been a regualar at Bia's now for the last 3 years. it is my favourite places to eat on the haight. The have excellent food, i love the persian dishes, kofta, yogurt chicken and of course the stuffed pepper and eggplant. brunch on weekends is very busy, garden is cute. dinner is also very tasty. you can come in and chill out from the hustle of haight street, have a glass of wine and spend a nice evening there with friends. the staff on every occasion I have been there are very accomadating and sweet. i would highly recommend it. food is really good here!

While so much of Haight St. is overpriced and aimed at tourists, there can be no greater a quandry than how this place still exists. I picked it as a central location for Sunday brunch with friends and I didn't want to wait an hour at Zazi. Mistake! There was one waiter in the whole place (not that there were that many people, but still). He was sloooooooowwwww as molasses, the food and coffee was minimal and cold and wilting. I was just so disappointed and embarrassed for picking it. Don't even bother, with so much goodness up the street in Cole Valley, Bia's is a waste of time and money.
