Our very rambunctious, 2.5 year old daughter has been attending this preschool for nearly 6 months now. As with any 2 year old put into a new environment, she cried and cried the first week, maybe. The teachers were so loving and hugged her and held her and made her feel comforted just as I would have. She loves it so much now she asks even on the weekends if she is going to "clase" today. I speak to her ONLY in Spanish, and so this program is absolutely the best fit I can possibly conceive of for our daughter. The spanish she learns there really reinforces what I teach her, and the warmth of the teachers and of the environment is something that I did not expect, but could only have hoped to find in a pre-school. The art projects they do, the songs they teach them, the dances they do to begin and end the day...all AMAZING. Their Xmas pageant this year was so so great- all 3 classes (the 2s, 3s, and 4s) all put on a performance in spanish for all the parents- it was so great to see how hard the teachers had worked to teach them these great spanish songs & dances. I honestly cannot recommend this school highly enough. LOVE it. My Son will certainly go there when he is of pre-school age!
Pros: WONDERFUL teachers, REAL Spanish Immersion, great classes with art, songs, outside play, good healthy snacks.
Cons: NONE

My husband and I read about this school in the local paper and decided it'd be a good fit for our second child (4 yrs old) He was going to a preschool in Berkeley for 2 years and he's always been quiet over there. He never talked about school or what he did that day. He has only been at KISS for 2 weeks and he can't stop talking about what he's learned everyday. My husband and his parents are ecstatic, since they are Latino themselves. The staff is kind and loving. My son seems to love all of them. My older daughter is more motivated now to keep up her knowledge of Spanish (learned from Dad, of course.) My 2 year old will start there as soon as he turns 3. We are very happy we made the decision to move my son here. And it's only a mile and half away...Icing on the cake!!
Pros: Great Staff!
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning
