Best Hair Stylist

I had interviewed color and extension professionals at 5 well known salons. After asking my girlfriends who work in the hair industry who they would recommend, they both knew of Ricardo. I got a free consultation from him. He has great training and experience. His policy is great - he will make your hair look good or he doesn't look good. He has been great to me. I am a high maintenance client and he is always nice and puts up with me. Last year my ex-stylist fried my hair and it broke off and then she glued in damaging extensions at an unfair price. Ricardo has fixed my hair. I am a brunette going blonde with a lot of red base in my hair. He was able to keep me blonde while I grew my hair out. I have just changed my hair color to brown after 10 years. He is ordering me extensions too. He tried out some extensions in my blonde hair to fill in the spots that were damaged. His method and product didn't ruin my hair at all. The price and quality were better than any salon that I interviewed (some salons wanted twice as much money). I can't believe how great Ricardo is at all my hair needs (cut, color and extensions). I am always happy with the money I have spent (every penny and I do count every one). His service includes toner! His hair cuts are just right...I didn't want too much but enough to get a cute style and chop off the split ends. Ricardo knows so much about base color, toner, application...he doesn't overlap color or processes. They do Thermal Reconditioning at the salon too and I see the same girls come back for it (so it must be good).

A++ for Ricardo

• Cons: parking - but just park in a garage

Ricardo is the best in the west

He does great coloring, stylish cuts, and is able to determine the best cut/color combination for your look. The ambiance is professional, fun, cutting-edge, and innovative. I love his cuts....I walk out of there looking like a hair model!!!
