Best Salon in SF!. I love Sublime. I've been here several times and I always leave feeling like a movie star! I've been going to Jill for a couple years now and she always gives me a great cut that's hip and super easy to style with minimum effort. The salon is also really cute and friendly.

I have been very happy with the results I got.. I visited Sublime Salon for the first time in '08. I had my haircut done by Katie and color by Gia.

My first impression was immediately Katie's warm and friendly attitude. She thoughtfully asked me what kind of haircut I was looking for. I showed her a couple of magazine pages that I liked and we discussed the options and she made her recommendation. She had a very confident demeanor and her presence was very informative. She explained the pros and cons of my decision and I have been very happy with the results I got.

I am returning to the salon soon and I can't wait to see what she has planed for me this time!

Jill's got the skills!. About 3 years ago i moved to SF from NYC. Despite my everlasting love for my stylist in New York, I realized that it wasn't practical for me to get my hair cut there any longer. I was referred to Jill by a friend, and tried her out for a haircut first. I loved my cut. She's got mad skills, has lots of ideas, and is a great listener. She made me feel comfortable from the moment she said hello.

After a few of her great haircuts, I decided to completely break ties with my stylist in NYC and have Jill do my thermal straightening. She did an amazing job and my hair has never been healthier. She is very meticulous and is extremely careful to make each and every strand of hair absolutely perfect. I am actually more happy with my hair than I have ever been before.

Never fear your hair will be cured here. Jamie is amazing!! She has been my stylist for the last 7 years. This woman has some serious skills and every time I leave her chair with a fresh look. She can fix any hair emergency and make you feel comfortable and confident. I always get so many compliments on my hair and she has made my hair easy and fun to style. Cut to color, she creates a total concept that is always exciting. Thanks Jamie you're the best!!!

Best Haircut Ever!. I was referred to Sublime by a co-worker who has been going to there for 5 years. She always looks great and I have seen her transformed from blonde to brunette, and short to long. I decided to give Sublime a try. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and made me feel at ease (It was the first time I have tried a new stylist in years). I told my stylist, Jill, that I wanted a change, but I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. She gave me some suggestions on ways to update my look. An hour later, I left feeling great with a new 'do that I love. I have been back twice since, the last time with color from Dylan, and have had great experiences every time.

Love it!. I listened to these reviews of Sublime and decided to give it a try. I couldn't be happier. Jill turned my rats-nest of hair into something remarkable. She listened, worked with me on a new style, and delivered 100%. On top of that, Rosa worked some magic on my colour. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

ROSA = OK. so I went to Rosa based on the reviews that ppl gave on city search. she did an ok job on my highlights...it would've been good IF she remembered to cover my GREY HAIRS as well!! I mean c'mon..what 25 yr old lady wants her GREYS to show???? hello!! you would think she realized that when we were talking about my hair before she colored it! I even told her specifically why I wanted to get my hair colored! so I came back the following week wanting her to correct it then she told me that I should have specifically made the appt for toning and partial highlights instead of just a full highlights. I was like...well it would be nice if someone would've told me that there's a diff in getting a toner and a full highlights!! hello..this is why I go to a nice salon to color my hair cuz I don't know anything about coloring hair! how was I suppose to know that there's diff names for diff things?? she should be more attentive to her customers needs instead of just not paying attention...needless to say..that was my first n last time of going to this salon! PLUS $180 FULL HIGHLIGHTS WITH GREY HAIRS SHOWING IS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!!

For great haircolor, go to Rosa!. Go make an appointment with Rosa right now if you're looking for one of the best colorists in SF! She came recommended to me by a friend, and I can honestly say that her grasp of hair color is nothing short of amazing. I've been a client at some the top salons in SF, but I have to say that Rosa is the most gifted and no nonsense colorist I've ever been to. It's always a joy to see her; her personality is so easy-going, yet she's very professional and thorough. I never have to worry about my results with her, because they are always flawless. As someone with naturally dark hair, she's given me the most natural looking blonde with highlights I've ever had. Recently, I wanted to go dark brown again, and she got it just right. With either color, I've always received lots of unprompted compliments from people on my hair color. This is the true test of whether or not a colorist has a good eye and knows their stuff, and Rosa does!

The salon is very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated- something that matters to me when I'm spending time having my hair done. The atmosphere is relaxed and low-key, no attitude like I've had to deal with at other more expensive and trendy salons in SF. The location, a block or two off Fillmore St., is ideal for great shopping and dining before or after getting your hair done. Love that!

I Love My Color!!. I saw Rosa last week to get my color done. I have been "around the block" when it comes to getting my hair done. BUT, I now have found a home. I wanted some highlights and lowlights and to get rid of the redness in my hair. She did ALL that and we also did a Kerestase treatment which made my hair feel silky and it looks sooo pretty. I am definitly coming back to see her and Im definitly getting another conditioning treatment.

I Love Sublime!!!. I've been going to Sublime for about 2 years and I am so happy that I found it. It is the first salon that I have been loyal to in my life. I am a very low maintainance and I don't like to spend time doing my hair. My stylist there is really great at giving me a haircut that doesn't need a lot of styling time and it still looks good. The staff is really nice and it is located near a lot of shopping on Fillmore St.
