The Gambino is the best. That sandwich is awesome! No matter how long the line is, it takes about 5 min to get the worlds greatest sandwich - the Gambino.

best in the west!!!!. Hands down the best sandwich on any coast!! Hot or Cold you can't go wrong! Meatball and cheesesteak both amazing and all the colds are great. Staff is great and breakfast subs and coffee are the best around! Our office has Gambino's cater all our meetings and it's always awesome!!!

Up until today.... this was one of the best places for a sandwich...the one I got today was as dry as the desert. I orderd a west coast style Gambino but someone forgot to tell the sandwich maker to put the mayo and mustard on the sandwich...sorry but I probably won't be back.

best sub's in the bay.... Love this place. Been going here weekly ever since I found it. The Gambino, and Italian sandwichs are as close as you can get to a Jersey sub.

Editorial Review. Family-owned sub shop serves hot and cold hoagies dressed East Coast (vinegar, oil, onions, herbs) or West Coast (pickles, mayonnaise, mustard) style.

BEST SANDO PLACE. Gambino's is the best place to get a sub sandwich. i am from the west coast and i love their east coast turkey sub. the service is always quick and efficient and the food is always delicious. i highly recommend gambinos if you are in the mood for authentic philly cheese steaks. you can not go wrong at this establishment.

Rock Steady. The title track of this place is the closest thing to a C & J's sub (greatest sandwich in the world, Madison, New Jersey) i've ever had. I started there, and have tried pretty much the whole menu and never had a sammy that was less than perfect. Steak n cheese is money, tuna is great. U really cant go wrong. By far the best sandwich place I've ever been to in California. Quick service and staff is cool too.

Addicted to these sandwiches. Since this little gem opened, I have been going there about once or twice a week. It is hands down the best sandwich shop in SF. The cheesesteaks are incredible, and I enjoy most of the cold subs as well. You can get them either east coast style, or west coat style (different condiments, dressings, etc) I have told many coworkers about this place, and now not a day goes by where I don't see a familiar face in line. This place is that good! The staff are all really friendly. One tip I want to share- try the hamburger. It's outstanding
