Great place. I have been to Lana as a client several times, every time I leaves I feel happy because she listens all of myne concerns gives advice and most importent colour and style my hair the way I want it.

Great experience and amazing hair. Mercys is nice place to relax and get great hair stile at the same time. Lana was amazing and, honestly, I don't even remember when last time I saw somebody so professional and friendly. My haircut and highlights are so beautiful, I cannot hide my happy smile

Great cut in a swank locale.. Mercer is swank and I've always had great cuts there by Carlos. FYI, Carlos just moved around the corner to Berenice Salon.

Chic Cow Hollow salon specializes in cuts and color.. In Short
Black, white, and yellow all over, this sleek, split-level salon focuses strictly on cuts and color. A team of dynamic stylists helm a dozen chairs, ready to tackle your tresses. The color room is located discreetly out of the gaze of Fillmore Street passersby, but the styling stations are front and center so be prepared for some exposure. Early arrivals can hang out in the ultra-modern lounge, reading the latest magazines while sipping the house-brewed cappuccino.

Ask for Mascha--she's great!. I've been to Mascha twice now and have been very impressed on both occasions. I have changed stylists a lot over the years--but no more! Since I've been going to Mascha, people regularly compliment me on my cut and ask who I go to, so I decided to write this review. Mercer Street is a great salon overall; complimentary wine or coffee, and everyone is very pleasant. And last, but certainly not least, the prices are extremely reasonable!! I'd recommend Mascha and Mercer Street to anyone.

lana Shkuratov - best stylist. She is my stylist now, she cut & styled my hair and did an exellent job.

Also Lana is fun person, I always enjoy talking to her about whatever.

She knows a lot about her profession and she always helps you to choose the right style for you.

She is the great!

Ask for Sid. I had a great experience at Mercer Street salon. Sid cut & styled my hair and did an awesome job. Sid is very knowledgeable, and exhibits great attention to detail. I was impressed that Sid took the time, not only to give me a great cut, but to educate me throughout the process of my cut & style. In addition, the staff & environment of Mercer Street was inviting & relaxed. I highly recommend visiting Mercer Street & asking for Sid.

At long last.... After spending way too much at Vidal for over a year, I decided to give my budget a break and try to find a spot that could offer similar service for a more reasonable price. I checked out three other spots, but wasn't having any luck.

And then I found Mercer Street. Evonne (who turned out to be a Vidal trained stylist) took her time and paid close attention to the little details and gave me a great cut. The space and atmosphere are great as well, with good beats in the background, plenty of space, and complimentary wine to enjoy during the service. Throw in a great head massage during shampooing and the fact that I was surprised at how inexpensive the cut was for the level of service I received, and my search is over.

This is my first CitySearch review, and Mercer Street certainly deserves it!

Awesome!. I visited my sister in San Fransisco and we went to get our hair cut. She took me to Mercer Street Salon, and I LOVED what Carlos did with my hair! :) I live in LA, and I've been back to have my hair cut because I couldn't find anyone who did it quite right in LA ... now the problem is finding the time to go back to get my hair cut every 4-6 weeks!! Thanks, Carlos, for a hair cut I love!

Not worth it. Please save your money, stylist do not give you what you ask.
