Loved the way my hair turned out after going to Flip Salon. I went to Flip to have a highlight and haircut done by Katie Gilday who recently joined the Flip team.

I walked in and was greeted by the person at the front desk and asked if I would like a beverage and from that point on, I enjoyed my whole experience. My hair came out beautifully and Katie was professional and made just enough conversation with me. My hair came out looking super natural and honestly the best I had seen it look in a long time. Katie told me as we were discussing what I wanted that she believes that "less is more" and I absolutely loved that. And the final result was subtle and beautiful.The price was right and the service was excellent. The salon was clean, but could have used a little more life and upbeat ambiance....

Excellent colorist. I have consistently, over a period of 2-3 years, had the best cut and color of any salon, anywhere. Shannon Juarez is a genius with color, I have had color done all over the country, including the big name salons in NYC and have not been as happy with the outcome. In addition, Flip is located in a fantastic neighborhood, come early and stay late, great spot to spend the day. Shopping and many cafes. Salon is comfortable, stylish and friendly.

Loved my cut!!!. This is a somewhat hidden gem! I highly recommend Flip. My stylist was Shannon Juarez, a friendly, down-to-earth, intelligent woman who left me feeling like a comfy friend by the end of the appointment. I've never been more pleased with a haircut and will definitely be back.

Best Beauty Team at Flip. When you get stopped on the street on a weekly basis by people who compliment your hair-you know you've got a good thing going! Shannon-the owner of Flip gives me awesome just for me highlights and fun cuts every time!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. This is my first time writing a review, only because I am compelled since my experience was that bad! I have had many haircuts from all over the US but nothing and I mean nothing was as bad as this. There are way too many options in this city to settle. Please PLEASE look around and do some research before you book here because most likely you will regret it.

It is hard, very hard to screw up my hair but they somehow managed to do it. I would rethink this place. I don't even think they deserve one star - but I had no choice. :)

Reply. I am the owner of Flip and have no idea what the previous reviewer is talking about!! I would never let a client leave with half of her hair done or demand that she pay. Fake reviews are so obviously fake...

Worst stylist EVER. I went in to get my hair straightened and they took and said no problem. I have curly hair but its so easy to straighten. I just wanted to have it done due to time. I've gone to many salons all over the world (LA, SF, SD, London, Dublin Ireland, Spain, Italy, etc) and the girl told me after she started that my hair is impossible to straighten. She left my hair frizzy, and fluffy. The owner, came up and and agreed with her stylist. What ever happen to the customer is right!! I ended up walking out after she had done just about half my head. The owner stopped me and demanded I paid full price. My hair looked like a 5year old had tried styling my hair. I reluctantly paid and was so upset. GET YOUR HAIR DONE THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I hope things have changed since I was there!

Good Cuts. I started coming here because its within walking distance of my house. I've seen four different people, but my favorites are Taylor and Shannon Smith (not the owner- the other one). Both gals have been great about cutting my hair exactly as I tell them or offering suggestions when I am feeling a bit racey. No pressure to buy their products - they always make suggestions but they're fine when I say "eh, no thanks." Taylor is newer and she's so friendly and easy to talk to. Shannon is bubbly and energetic. Two thumbs up.

GREAT Place!. I love Flip - Chelsea is amazing, one of the best colorists I have ever been to! I found them a couple od f years ago through a Spa Week promotion and have not gone anywhere else since!

Amazing color by Chelsea. I recently visited flip to get a highlight and haircut. My stylist was Chelsea. She did an absolutely fabulous job on my hair. She gave me some new recommendations for the color which were genius. The cut turned out just as good. I already booked my next appt and cant wait to go back. Go see Chelsea if you know whats good for you.
