The Scene
With absolutely gorgeous decor, this Russian Hill spot is a girly girl's paradise. Forget the plain pedicure massage chairs--ultra-comfy, roomy seats will have you relaxed in seconds. In lieu of standard pedicure tubs, your feet soak in a porcelain washbasin set in a pink-hued tile block. Expect to sit in the same comfortable setting for your mani: This place doesn't use manicure tables. The drying station offers a variety of mags and chic Philippe Stark chairs.
The Services
Prices for basic nail services are roughly $5 more than bare bones nail salons--a steal since you get high-end spa amenities. You can also indulge in Spa Deluxe treatments, which include mineral salt scrubs and extended massages, or specialized services, such as the Sports-relief Pedi. Health and safety are top priority here, and any tools that can't be properly sanitized in a surgical autoclave are yours to keep or discarded.

I had business to do in SF, and brought my teenager with me. On the recommendation of a friend, I stopped by Teashi, and what a great experience for my girl....and for me. Loryn knew I might stop in, so she and her staff were ready and really went out of their way to be nice. They gave a great manicure and pedicure, a first for my girl. She was treated like a queen....and they were nice to me too. Also, the surroundings were beautiful. I'm happy to recommend Teashi.
Pros: Service, decor

I was greeted very warmly at the door and my mani/pedi was downhill from there. $55 is way too much to pay for rushed, minimalistic service. My toes were not adequately dried after the scrub/soak, so when the tissue was shoved in between the toes, it stuck. After the polish was applied I was totally ignored. No one helped me down from my perch, or to pull off the tissue, or to help me on with my shoes. This place is a rip and I will never ever return.
Cons: too expensive, rude service
