not too bad. The brazilian service was great and customer service was great. The esthecian could have been a little more personable. What I didn't like about the place was that it felt clinical. The wall colors are white with some pink, green, and blue. It just didn't feel as comfortable as a massage salon should feel.

FINALLY a hip salon in San Mateo. From the moment I walked in, I was put at ease. From the friendly front desk to the many aestheticians who passed by me and were eager to answer any of my questions. I had THE best eyebrow and bikini waxes of my life plus a fantastic pumpkin facial. I have lived in London and New York and have never found a neighborhood salon this professional and such a tucked away jem. Oh did I mention the jewelry - finally unique affordable pieces that not everyone has!

Best relaxing, youth-reviving facial in town! Beautiful and friendly owners as well. This place is hip and clean - tell your girlfriends and boyfriends about it! Not only is the staff knowledgeable and their products totally amazing, they're on time, professional. I highly recommend the awesome Oxygen facial they offer- you will feel so good when you leave for days on end!

Pure Delight!. What a great experience at Glow! Not only are the staff very fun and friendly - but I got the best facial I have ever had! I did leave actually there with a glow!!! I am a bit new to bikini waxing and have left a couple of places black and blue. But at Glow - it was quick and painless!!!! A couple of friends suggested I try Glow because I was not satisfied with the places I had tried - and it is well worth the drive from the East bay! Bonus - they have great accessories! I got some great earrings too! Overall great experience!

A Glowing Experience. This brightly colored Day Spa with friendly, inviting staff is tucked in the quiet, no traffic, ample parking South end of San Mateo. I found the waxing to be quick, painless and actually relaxing because the Glow atmoshpere and estheticians made me feel so comfortable during the process. I was blown away at the many types of facials and massages offered. Facials have now become a routine for me, because not only do the Glow estheticians make me feel amazing while at Glow, but it's how my skin feels and looks afterwards that's made a difference!

BEST WAXING HANDS DOWN. Word of mouth led me to Glow and their skill will keep me there! I originally went in for a back wax. Jen made me feel at ease right away with her professionalism and sense of humor. It was as close to pain free as you can get! I have since had several massages there as well- always a perfect 10 and my girlfriend is now an addict for their facials. Not frilly. Great attitude-free environment for all.

Always Glowing. I am a regular customer at Glow and I absolutely love it and look forward to my visits! I know, a bikini wax is nothing to look forward to but the staff and atmosphere is so comforting and professional that I just relax and before I know it, my skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom. Great products for sale there too, wonderful facials that refresh and revive even the most stressed out, over worked and over extended women.

A GLOWING EXPERIENCE FOR A DUDE!. I found Glow through the citysearch website. I wanted to get a wax and a facial, but felt a little self-conscious being a guy and all. I called a few different places and couldn't believe that some other salons wouldn't do appointments for men, but not at Glow. They were happy to accomodate me and were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I felt VERY comfortable from the minute I walked in, all through my appointment (Jen was great!) and on my way out the door. What a great place! I would tell any guy who is thinking of waxing or getting a facial that this is definately the place to go.

Extremely Welcoming and Efficient. If you haven't been to GLOW salon yet...it is a must! Not like other "day spas." It is so welcoming and friendly. Very spacious and bright...every room is a different color. I love it! But don't let the fun light hearted atmosphere fool you, the staff is extremley professional and efficient. In addition, my husband was able to make an appointment too, and felt very comfortable doing so. Check it out for yourself!
