Editorial Review for Uncle Vito's Pizzeria – by Jen Robbins
In Short
The pizza takes center stage at this low-key chain, but diners can also take advantage of a fully stocked menu. Appetizers and salads include deep-fried ravioli accompanied by a marinara dipping sauce and a classic antipasto; entrees feature a roster of pastas and fat sandwiches, such as the meatball sub and eggplant parmigiana sandwich. Delivery is free, but requires a $10 minimum purchase.

Who's writing all these good reviews? Uncle Vito's nephews?? The pizza was very disappointing, undercooked, gooey dough, not real canadian bacon, not enough cheese (as evidenced by the toppings falling off), and insufficient sauce. The only reason I gave them a 1 and not a 0 is because they brought the food to me. This is essentially Dominoes at SF prices. Never again!
Pros: they deliver
Cons: overpriced, bad pizza

The place looks like a hole in the wall, but it sure offers some good pizza. Perfect for take out or for a quick, informal meal. The salads are pretty good, too (and the olives on the salad are wonderful, according to my husband). If you eat in, though, be sure to sit in the main room. Two tables are located right near the bathroom, and there's a constant path of people passing by.
Pros: Excellent pizza
