No thank you, the crowds kidish and very rough. This place is full of youngsters, acting like low end people. If you want an uncivilized crowd head to the zebra lounge and have fun. I've been there on numerous ocassions and will not return. The staff isn't bad, but the crowd is just plain silly. This used to be one of the many stops on Broadway. Sadly, that street is for people who don't know where else to go.

good crowd. This place is only okay. The mixed drinks are good but the bar staff isn't that friendly. Staff at the door and coat check are. The DJs are good for about an hour but they have the tendancy to play the same songs over and over. I've gone on nights when it was hip hop and R&B. The place is kinda small but there is enough room to dance. Most people are up on their feet so the couches in the front room are free to sit and drink.

Ex-Bar Manager asks a few friends to say how great Zebra is. Look at the reviews for 9 & 10/05 - notice how close the "Highly Recomended" reviews are?? Con.... ask the ex-bartender Michael (who's in the picture pouring),

Yeh, Michael asked me to write a great review of Zebra but my conscience got to me first so I waited. Went there last month and this month.. they have so much SFPD cops in front, it's like they were ready for a riot. So I didn;t go in the first time. The second time, the place was ghetttooooo! I met the promoter and he snuck us in thru the smoking area in the alley. I told him I thought $15 was too much especially since I had three ladies with me. As for the drinks - they DO NOT KNOW anything about mixing. The consistency of the long islands (yes, I still drink them) was bad (I ordered from both bars) for my friends and tasted them .. yech. Also, there was alot of Asian's there (not that I have anything against them but I like a more mix crowd). And the Asian's were dressed cool, the other smaller groups were either white trash talking "garbage" or latinos that didn't dress very well. Save your money, go to Dolce or Impala for the class. And I do agree with yujo's Citysearch post (I wouldn't go back.. - it was a waste of Sat night".

I wouldn't go back!. This was my first time at Zebra Lounge and I was not impressed. The cover charge posted outside said $15, so we waited in line and got to the door and had to pay $20. Okay, that was fine until we went inside and found the main room to be small, stuffy, and dirty. I don't expect clubs to be clean, but is it too much to expect the bar to have room to place our drinks? It was a waste of money and a waste of a good Saturday night.

One third full drink. I went there on Friday Ladies nite without paying admission fee.

They should restrict the 1st floor not to dance at all. Because it's only a small and narrow corridor. Not for dance sure! 2nd floor is big but just techno music please!

The most important thing for clientele is drink in clubbing. Is an order from boss that bartender can only fill our drinks in one third full of a plastic cup? Yes, don't doubt that they provide only the plastic cup! And of course you don't have to dress up. The class of this club is low definitely.

Parking is a main trouble issue on the strip during weekend. Think about it's San Francisco downtown. We've no choice and depend on our luck.

There's enough seats and couch for us to take a rest. that's the pro!

great time @ Zebra. I can't remember a time @ Zebra that I wasn't having enuf fun drinking, dancing, and checking out hottie. My latest Saturday nite out adventure last wknd was @ Zebra as well and again i had such a fabulous time.

Good Times. Zebra is the place to go when you definitely want to Party! My friends took me there for my birthday. The bartendars were great and they make the drinks fast and delicious!!

You have a great time no matter what the occassion or just a night out on the town! The atmosphere is great too! It's a must!

Good looking people in a good looking place. This newly opened club is probably one of the top four clubs right now in SF. The crowd, on the seven times I've been, there has been strong with plenty to keep your neck turning. There is ample room to groove in the back room, and huge bar areas with the "right looking" bartenders servicing generously sized cocktails. The room has multiple plasma panel screens rotating great distraction, if you need it, which you won't.
